From the anime Hunter x Hunter there’s a character by the name of Hisoka they never specified he was a pedo in the anime or manga but it’s clearly shown by the way he acts towards minor characters and to the main protagonist who is in-fact 12 year old boy. A lot of people say it isn’t pedophilia because “he’s after power” but that simply isn’t the case because why else would he be moaning and staring at minors asses while they’re walking. There’s many other examples I could use where authors don’t have to say something for it to be canon because quite literally it’s right there. It’s like trying to get an author to admit a character is in love with another character when they literally act like it in the show.
My interpretation is someone in the mafia taught him to use his body and mori didn’t stop him but let him continue to do so. Since we all know mori only protected and saved dazai for his personal gain in the mafia. And dazai was also useful. So it would make sense that someone taught him to do anything for what he needs/wants, and mori wouldn’t stop him just be sure he’s still alive. Does this make any sense..? Also, this could be mori being nice, but i cant imagine that, his character is so manipulative and cunning. Plus, there is no light in his eyes.
