While there are a few people I've met along my travels who have greatly influenced who I am, I feel like the most influential "character" in my life has been Montreal. That's where I went on exchange/erasmus and where I sort of turned into the person I am today. There are a lot of great friends involved in why Montreal is so influential but Montreal is the key.

Marie, hey! I just wanted to say - i love so much your videos! I’m from Belarus, and now trying to make my own channel :) and yeah that’s important to realize that you’re always a mix of close people influence, but always remember that you are none of them

Such an interesting take on what origin means!
But honestly, it really works to connect certain charecteristics with certain people - I personaly am very emotional bc of my mum, very calm bc of my dad and very diplomatic bc I always lived between their two extremes :D
    Hope you'll get better soon

friends have a huge impact of who i am today, since i spent a lot of time with them (aswell as with my mum, grandmum and kind of my dad and brother) but i also thing that my 'enemys' made me go this way aswell, the thought me how i never wanted to be, they teached me how to be strong in a weird and abstract and bad way but in the end thats actually a positive side effects of people who didnt like you.

Get well soon Marie. I like your videos so much. You seem so humble and at the same time like a untamable wildchild who needs their space to be creative and fly around just being you. :) I like that, it's inspiring.

One of the people who shaped me is a random small-time hobby blogger I stumbled across in 2007 (I was 13, she was 14). She was creative and an amateur photographer and liked to do fairly simple photoshop edits like mirroring effects and cloning, and it bloody well blew my socks off for some reason. I wasn’t even that engaged, only commented on her blog a couple of times, but I’d browse her images and try myself, either by putting my own spin on it or blatantly copying.
I ended up starting my blog because of her, getting a camera and using editing tools and eventually picking a degree in media/photography, because I fell so in love with her art and style. And some of it was there before, but I do credit this random girl who still have no idea I exists, for giving my creativity a well aimed kick in the butt and for what is now my biggest pastime and favourite hobby.

I loved this Marie! I would say I am more willing to listen and to discuss because of my dad and how he questions me. I take on responsibility as well as I can because of having grown up watching my mum and how much she puts everything she has into what she believes in and all she commits to. My twin sister makes me a much more open minded person because she enjoys different media and culture compared to me and opens me up to worlds that I never would have known otherwise. And my friends constantly challenge what I thought I knew, help me leave stones carefully examined after each conversation and help me grow.
Wonderful Marie, do get better soon!

I am stubborn and hot-tempered because of my dad. I often restrain myself and bottle emotions because of my mom. Being basically raised by my older sister made me strange and unafraid to be myself, no matter who I'm around. I feel as though it is not only the people around me in life that has shaped me, but also their expectations of me and how I am perceived by them. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet.
