I live in your neighborhood and think it's the most interesting in Sudbury. I studied history in university, but most of your content is new to me. Good luck for success with this channel. You clearly put a lot of work into your videos and deserve more views.
Thanks very much, Dustin! I definitely agree, I don't always take strolls in this part of town but I always enjoy them when I do. It's such a nice change from the cookie-cutter suburbs I grew up in. Have you had the chance to do a history walk with Paul Haynes? Thanks for your subscription and helping to support the efforts, there is indeed a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes and I'm grateful that you've taken a moment to recognize it. Please help spread the word!
I have come to love Thursday's because it means another video from Warren. I was very excited to learn there will be a new video every week until December. Fascinating stuff Warren!
Hey Warren, I really love the channel! My only thoughts to octagonal architecture in the area are lighthouses. It seems Kincardine, Queen's Wharf and Battle Island lighthouses are octagonal, and there are a few hexagonal imposters: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lighthouses_in_Ontario This is a fun topic and I will keep my eye out around Sudbury/Ontario
Sorry, I didn't see this comment until now! I'm a big fan of the red and white lighthouses; I unfortunately couldn't get my hands on any footage for the original octagon homes video but I did include a neat hexagon house in Little Current that looks somewhat reminiscent of a lighthouse. Thanks very much for the kind words and for following the series!
Hi Warren : There is one of those octagon houses in Prince Edward County , On . I have driven past it many times on my way to Picton and the sandbanks . Always found it interesting . Enjoy your videos . Keep them coming please !!
Thank you, John! One of the lists I referenced had two in the Picton area; one at Henry and Main and the other at Elizabeth and King, so you may have to make a small detour on your next trip! Thanks very much for your comment, I aim to be as steady as possible til the end of this year at least! And here's the octagon inventory if you're curious, there's some info on the Picton homes within. bobanna.com/octagon/CANADA.html
I would absolutely love a mini series in this channel of Warren walking around a town spreading knowledge
What an excellent video by Warren!

Hawkesbury has one octagon home and a round barn :)
I knew about the barn but not the home! Yet another pilgrimage to make someday haha. Thanks for sharing!
Odd way of spelling “my friendship with Ben” but great title
Very technical language in this vid
It's dynamite
