Love Fuertaventura. Go there every year. Recommend Polo Loco on the strip. Highly recommend going to the sand dunes and sun bathing on a natural beach. Make sure you go south and visit Oasis Wildlife, amazing zoo.
For me Futurventura is the best island of the canaries.. but that’s just personal opinion.. I like the fact it’s that little quieter than the other islands.. again that’s just me
Yes although commercialised now it's still retaining its original charm I used to love grilled King Prawns with garlic dip & salad amazing grilled fish all freshly caught fish of the day you just ordered it simple food that the locals ate we have lost this now its very sad
It's a pity you haven't hired a car & given it more time to explore, it's got some lovely places. It is completely different to Tenerife but has a lovely laid back atmosphere & we're looking forward to going again soon ✈️😎
Thanks for finally visiting Corralejo! We've been there dozens of times and yes we've visited all the other Canary Islands! I know you used to be in Tenerife so that's why you're biased! Corralejo is cool for a chill out time and a bit of nightlife if you want it! The rest of the Island is beautiful. I think you just have to 'get it' to know why we all love it! Aimed at the Brits? Not sure I agree. Far more cosmopolitan than other islands. An awful lot of Italians. Best restaurant - Land of Freedom. Quite upmarket, especially when you're from Mansfield.....
Have to agree with your comment at the end. Depends totally what you want. Tenerife is more the party island Fuertaventura is where you go if you want to relax and unwind and just have a lovely time without the hustle and bustle
We’ve been to Tenerife and fuerteventura, out of the two we prefer fuerteventura. Lovely views and beaches. We prefer the quiet over the hassle and bustle when going on holiday. Definitely go out and explore more areas, jandia and morro jable are lovely
I’m usually a calm guy Lee and a big fan of your channel, but I find myself sat here literally screaming at the Tv! FV and Corralejo is one of my favourite places on earth, and I feel u are missing the best places in town and on the island. Please try restaurants like La Playita, La Tahona and El Patio they are hidden gems.

To me it looked like other Spanish coastal resorts with the British bars, cafes etc. Not that I've been to many and only Lanzarote in the Canaries. Perhaps you should done a coach trip around the area.
Not for me of the Canaries Lanzerote 1 Tenerife 2 Gran Canarie 3 Furteventura 4 . Too quite and lacking in atmosphere no vibe . But we are all different and we have our favourites enjoyed the vlog tho Lee ..😊
Fuerteventura looks nice. I'm definitely gonna go this summer. As for food I like it traditional, I may like an Indian or Chinese once in a blue moon, otherwise Fish and Chips, Full Roast Dinner, Full English Breakfast and a nice Cheese Burger. Thanks for a great video Lee.

For some reason I love Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote. Got some nightlife and not too tacky. Been 5 times in 18 months! Never done that to any other destination!
Hello sir have you ever been to the of Island La Palma in the Canary Islands ?. It's very pretty with fantastic views and scenery but not as busy as Lanzarote Tenerife and gran canaria when it comes to partying and nightlife. Sadly the island La Palma gets overlooked for some reason. Great videos as usual.👍
All of the islands are different, having been to them all, I would say that La Palma is probably the least inviting! Tenerife has its problems with crime, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura probably don't have such good weather. But they all beat freezing England in January!
I’m so glad I haven’t visited the canaries since the 90s,boy have they changed. Our go to holidays since 98 has been Barbados 🇧🇧 not commercialised,local shops and bars/ restaurants local Banks beer lovely places to visit,lovely people,back there in a few weeks,can’t wait🇧🇧
FV is the only Canary island I’ve not been to in the last 18 months. Not a fan of hiring cars, and the buses there make it difficult or impossible to get around freely. Gran Canaria was my favourite.
I went to Fuerteventura (stayed in Corralejo) around 20 years ago and it was nothing like it is now. There was very little commercialisation of the Island at all. It was very Spanish, with zero Brit restaurants etc. Still I really enjoyed it. I can understand why the Fuerteventura authorities thought it would be a good idea to Anglicize Corralejo as you can get package deals for next to nothing from the UK.
My 1st ever holiday 3yrs ago was to feutventura caleta de fuste. I absolutely loved it. I wanted a relaxin holiday as I don't do crowds to well. I took my daughter and 2 grandkids both with disabilities the youngest who was 2 at the time is severely autistic and non verbal we nearly didn't make it as he wouldn't sit down on the plane. But he was a trooper everyone commented on how good he was and didn't realise we had a toddler with us. Anyways it was the best place to go with him not to busy and we actually got him to walk on the beach and paddle in the sea which was a massive thing for us. Give it chance n maybe try a different part if u ever go again.
Been once and never again. Stayed in caleta de fuste and was bored stiff for a week. Tenerife is in my opinion the best by far and this time next month I will be there 😎😎

Good video. All the Canary Islands are different. If you want to play golf then Tenerife is easily the best. Fuerteventura is best for windsurfing. Lanzarote is great for a quiet holiday with a bit of winter sun. Overall I would pick Lanzarote but I am getting a bit old!
Perhaps you should try La Palma and El Hierro. The latter is very quiet. I think you now can fly directly to La Palma but not to El Hierro. They are completely different and not for anyone wanting a lot of nightlife. We also found La Palma quite wet (but very green)
It really does depend what you are looking for on a trip away. Running, cycling, open water swimming, triathlon training, surfing, hiking - Fuerteventura is excellent. Get off the main street and find some very good cuisine, no problem. Relaxing - yep, for sure. Great bars for live music, no high rise monstrosities, good transport, just fairly chilled. I like the other islands too and have visited many times, tenerife san cristobal - great place, los Americas area - not my cup of tea ..., Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - well worth a visit, Lanzarote - some great places, la gomera, la Palma - excellent hiking .... horses for courses....
Don't be too hard om FV, Lee. TF % LZ are more 'Touristy', FV is more for chill-out and recharging your batteries. Was in TF for Xmas and you could hardly move. Love them both.
I was in Tenerife a acouple of months ago, this seems far more expensive in comparison? Plus, being pretty flat, with low buildings, it might help elderly and disabled. Plus, so many beaches if you want to do a beach holiday and not interested or able to visit places like the water park. Would be nice to see villas and apartments etc
It looks dead! I was in San Antonio Bay in Ibiza over Christmas and it was so much busier than where you are, and although the weather wasn't as good, it was so much more fun!
I think you've got the same problem as you had with Cyprus. It seems to be a place that is more vibrant in the summer months. I bet it's busling then 🎉🎉

You're there 20 years too late. It used to be a brilliant place, like you thought, mostly sand dunes, and Corralejo was barely built up, so the majority of restaurants were authentic Spanish, but it's clearly gone to seed.
Love the south of fuerteventura, the beaches are divine! Much nicer than Tenerife and Lanzarote in my opinion. Wasn’t keen on corralejo personally, I like the quiet at the other end. Each to their own but I would rather be there than the other islands.
Lee, All the Canary Islands are different. Each has its own character. Furteventura is arid, windy, and very new to tourism. It does have some beautiful white sand beaches. Lanzarote is similar but a bit more tourist orientated. Gran Canaria wants to be Tenerife and thinks it's more important because it's the seat of the Canarian Government. Tenerife, you know and Tenerife is Tenerife! La Gomera is small and quite green. El Hierro is way too isolated. By far, the best island is La Palma - la isla bonita. Pretty villages, even a rain forest! The volcanic landscape is impressive. If you love the glory of the night sky, it has the darkest skies in the world. Tourism is deliberately kept low-key. Unfortunately, that means mainly German. However, don't let them keep it to themselves, come over and show your followers what they're missing.
Hello lee my name is paul george. iv been to all the canary islands and I now only go to fuerteventura I now it like the back of my Hand. in corralejo main street just up from the asian garden chinese restaurant. theres a slowboat chinese restaurant all you can eat buffet for 15 euros and the best part is every time you buy a pint of larger you get one FREE And thats all night. also so the wakiki on the beach front. good luck
Went there just before Christmas. Thought it was fantastic. Food not the best. I find Spanish food not quite up to scratch and the restaurants aren't as good as Greek. There is just something good about going to the Greek Islands. The food is absolutely amazing.
I love the Canaries. Why don’t you meet up with the Butlers from ‘Butlers Empire’? They’re where you are at the moment, it looks like. They seem to be enjoying it.

I enjoy your videos, but whining, moaning, and complaining that a gorgeous part of planet Earth doesn't have enough going on or is not exciting enough is just annoying. Think of the millions of unfortunate people in this world who would be absolutely thrilled to see the ocean and enjoy all the natural beauty of the island. It might be good to acknowledge how fortunate you and your fellow travelers truly are, rather than nitpicking about expensive pints. Safe travels.
I've been to 4 of the islands, As a motorphycolist I rate the road riding expirience as 4 Fuerte - 3 Lanzo - 2 Tenarife and No. 1 The big GC....... no not her....

It depends on what you want, Fuerteventura looks quieter and pretty laid back, but that's what some people would prefer about it.

Indian Tandoori Spices Corralejo (The one you've shown in this video) was amazing food when I went, the owners were very friendly too.

On that Menu, "Saharian Squid" I didn't know they lived in the desert. "Cod of the Chef " sounds a bit suspect also.

You're commenting on the wind, Fuerteventura's name has been regarded as a reference to the strong winds (fuertes vientos in Spanish)

There are beautiful sand dunes just on the outskirts next to the 5* hotel.

I went to Corralejo in October and the resort was very busy. I don't think its worse than Tenerife, its just different and more laid back.
You still have La Palma and La Gomera to go in the Canaries

Asia garden is fantastic food at a reasonable price.Other places i would recommend are El sombrero and cafe La Luna(they do a brilliant breakfast).

Love the south of fuerteventura, the beaches are divine! Much nicer than Tenerife and Lanzarote in my opinion. Wasn’t keen on corralejo personally, I like the quiet at the other end. Each to their own but I would rather be there than the other islands.

Lee, All the Canary Islands are different. Each has its own character. Furteventura is arid, windy, and very new to tourism.
It does have some beautiful white sand beaches.
Lanzarote is similar but a bit more tourist orientated.
Gran Canaria wants to be Tenerife and thinks it's more important because it's the seat of the Canarian Government. Tenerife, you know and Tenerife is Tenerife!
La Gomera is small and quite green. El Hierro is way too isolated. By far, the best island is La Palma - la isla bonita. Pretty villages, even a rain forest! The volcanic landscape is impressive. If you love the glory of the night sky, it has the darkest skies in the world. Tourism is deliberately kept low-key. Unfortunately, that means mainly German. However, don't let them keep it to themselves, come over and show your followers what they're missing.
Hello lee my name is paul george. iv been to all the canary islands and I now only go to fuerteventura I now it like the back of my Hand. in corralejo main street just up from the asian garden chinese restaurant. theres a slowboat chinese restaurant all you can eat buffet for 15 euros and the best part is every time you buy a pint of larger you get one FREE And thats all night. also so the wakiki on the beach front. good luck
Went there just before Christmas. Thought it was fantastic. Food not the best. I find Spanish food not quite up to scratch and the restaurants aren't as good as Greek. There is just something good about going to the Greek Islands. The food is absolutely amazing.
I love the Canaries. Why don’t you meet up with the Butlers from ‘Butlers Empire’? They’re where you are at the moment, it looks like. They seem to be enjoying it.
What's my thoughts? I've been watching Kevin videos, and it doesn't look the same as tenerife I think when you been to tenerife so many times u just fall in love with it get ur self to tenerife Lee 😉

I enjoy your videos, but whining, moaning, and complaining that a gorgeous part of planet Earth doesn't have enough going on or is not exciting enough is just annoying. Think of the millions of unfortunate people in this world who would be absolutely thrilled to see the ocean and enjoy all the natural beauty of the island.
