The scene where Molly Malloy leaps from the window juxtaposed with the non stop witty banter of the reporters gives a surreal quality to the scene and to the extent that the tragic event is almost dismissed with the pace of the dialogue and scene .
The reporters ,around the window from where she jumps , move aside slightly so as to allow her the room to jump then rush toward the open window almost sealing it . Almost sequestering the tragic event as if it didn't belong in the rest of the screwball film .
This doesn't serve to hide the attempted suicide . On the contrary . It magnifies it .

Only 500 and some odd views wow another testament to say how irrelevant you are what is relevant is the screen itself and the actors so bye-bye
