Wolfgang - Arthur 1971

After re-discovering Wolfgang recently, who's folk/pop tale Abraham I got into at the tender age of 7, I started do delve deeper and really got into his first album 'Aus Abraham's Bude'. A fine, much underrated, early 70s folk/pop affair with a twist of psych, all written, composed and designed by the man himself. Wonderfully haunting melodies, skilled lyrics and interesting musical arrangements, including great use of wah wah and fuzz guitar. Thought I'd upload some tracks of the album...Arthur, the first track of side two, talks about a mythological water spirit with with bright red hair...enjoy !

Großartig!! Neben "Bum Bum" mein Lieblingslied von Wolfgang! Finde seine erste LP unglaublich stark! Schade, dass seine "Erstlingswerke": Ein Foto von Christina, Freitagmorgen, Romantica und Die Ballade vom goldenen Püppchen nicht auch darauf enthalten sind!

Hi, ja total, I love it, beautiful song ! Auch one of my faves, schoene Geschichte, von ihm erfunden ? Wonderful album, Bum Bum is auch one of my faves, great lyrics, I love them all. Hast Du die anderen songs die du erwaenht has ? Wuerde sie gerne mal hoeren...(sorry fuer deutsch english mix lol aber bin schon so lange hier und vieles is easier in english ;)
