Hey, odd question....I already had the shop install the flex fuel/fuel pressure kit and the car is pro tuned, I have my intake apart RN doing some maintenance and I'm wondering if now is the time to do the TGV delete, anyway for the question, does installing the fuel pressure gauge/ethanol sensor necessitate the deactivation of the TGV cel codes meaning I can gut my TGVs without having to have the ECU reflashed to remove those codes?
Hey first off thanks for watching! You know to be honest with you rather you purchase a set or cut out your tgvs you would need to re tune. The actuator the regulates the valve for them would need to be either debugged or removed on the reflash. I heard if you cut them out the actuator doesn’t recognize them being cut out and might not need a reflash. Hope this helps!
The Cobb pressure sensor kit? Ohhh I know what your talking about I didn’t use it actually based on the install instructions from IAG and my “computer service” guy haha
I see you in Texas. I’m in college station.
Yes we are! Nice! How are things out there?
Shoot. Rained like crazy yesterday. You on IG as well? I got plans for my car very very soon.
