Depends on the thickness of the book.
If they're of a normal thickness then yes you can easily put 4-5 books, and 2 set clothing. The space is ample.
But if the books are as thick as a dictionary, it's going to be 2-3 books maximum with 2 set of clothes

5 kgs, yes it can, but overall will be a bit heavy caz the bag itself weights probably 1.3kgs.

I purchased it for just ₹1500 during an Amazon Sale as a secondary backpack but for daily school/college purpose, it's not going to suit your needs much. It's looks cool, but is quite bulky. Also, taking out water bottle from the side sometimes also becomes a hassle.
If you don't need an anti theft backpack specifically, you may avoid purchasing it. I bought a Cosmus backpack for about ₹1200 on Amazon and have been pretty impressed, it's simple ordinary backpack but fits all boxes so you can wait for my review on that too, which I hope will come out soon.
