    The only bottom common denominator with all previous managers is Levy and Enic. It's beyond manager reach.

    • @daveb5998
      @daveb5998 4 дні тому

      The only common denominator is toxic, negative mindset fans posing as supporters. They turned on Poch, they turned on Mourinho, they turned on Conte. Now they turn on Ange. Imagine if these turncoat DOGS were family members. Youd have to sleep with one eye open and never turn your back on them. But somehow they don't think that they are the problem and its everyone else's fault.
      And stop calling supporters fans. Supporters are supporters. Fans circulate hot air. Fans and supporters are 2 very different things.

    The problem is the owners . The transfer window not getting enough ready made players were we needed relacements. What did Levy say after the staduim was built we would be challaging .Hes lied not buying enough quality. Till Enic and Levy go this club wont do anything .

    • @BradleyWynne_DavidBowiefan
      @BradleyWynne_DavidBowiefan 5 днів тому +2

      You're absolutely spot on! We need owners and a chairman with ambition who actually sign world class or at least very good players in the transfer window, at least two in each window to reinforce the squad.😊 With our current owners they shop cheap and not so cheerful or they overpay for average players signing the likes of Solanke (who is maybe better than average), Johnson, Werner and kids like Gray and Bergvall. We should of course develop youngsters for the future but we need ready made as you said players for the here and now and in each window we need to be ambitious. Why can't Tottenham fans demand high standards and to see their club win Premier League titles and UCL trophies?!😅

    • @the-icephoenix

      Your right but in my opinion levy and ange are two separate issues. Long term no manager can succeed with levy's policy's but there's a lot of managers who would get more from the limited resources than ange. Ange has poor in game management and is tactically nieve

    • @BradleyWynne_DavidBowiefan
      @BradleyWynne_DavidBowiefan 5 днів тому

      @@the-icephoenixYeah, Ange needs to adapt his tactics, drill the players in defending and scoring from set-pieces, improve the defending generally i.e. our players need to close down attempts on our goal which Porro didn't do against Chelsea for Enzo's goal for 2-3, he needs to improve with his game management particularly when we are winning by a couple of goals and keep things tight for a bit and he needs to make subs earlier in the second half and make the right subs at that i.e. not taking off Maddison in a game we need to score in.

    • @rocket8796
      @rocket8796 5 днів тому

      I think Ange would have been heavily involved in the transfers I don’t think you can blame Levy. Recruitment was a strong skill he showed at Celtic but top 5 of PL needs an elite level of player. He needs to aim higher £400m has not been really well spent.

  • @trevorstanding6462
    @trevorstanding6462 5 днів тому +6

    The manager is not the main problem. The problem is the standard of player that the manager has to work with and that's down to the recruitment policy of the Board.

  • @popconmedia
    @popconmedia 5 днів тому +14

    I agree with the guest's opinion. I loved Ange but now I doubt him because he has blamed Werner and Romero lately. He is just a good speaker. He is not good at tactics and selecting starting 11 players. Porro has been so poor all this season and Ange has kept starting Porro who has been the biggest problem for Spurs. That tells how poor he is. and Ange is not good at talking with players who need love and motivation from a manager.

      one step at a time. let's get rid of the incompetent manager first. This is roughly the first manager after Levy solved his financial restrictions after putting in the stadium. Seems to me he backs Ange financially. He now knows he has the wrong manager. Let's see what he will do.

  • @No_Use_For_A_Name

    I don't personally think we have an amazing team, but for me, with a more realistic manager, you can still play attacking football, but someone that would pick his moments, drop a bit to conserve energy at times, be a bit more thoughtful in how he goes up against certain opponents, we probably would be in a pretty good position right now.
    I think we have lost a lot of games we just didn't need to because of Ange refusing to adapt.
    So for me, part of the problem has to go onto Ange.
    Im sure a better manager would have this same team, with the same injuries, in a much better position.

    Levy, ENIC and the sporting directors are the problem with their lack of ambition, we have spent considerable money but we've bought many average players over the last 24 years! We need to direct our frustrations with the complete lack of progression at Levy and ENIC and the players who are making mistakes every week! Ange isn't the problem but he needs to take responsibility as well and adapt his tactics, drill the players in defending and scoring too from set-pieces, make better subs and make subs earlier, he needs to adapt mid-game and utilise game management tactics when we are winning particularly, if Ange does that we would be far more consistent.

      I agree and that is the problem with what Stel is saying. I think he makes some valid points, but he didn't have a solid, realistic answer to who he thinks would be a good managerial replacement. Who in their right mind would want to come to this team and work in this environment? The later days of Poch, Mourinho, Nuno and Conte have all experienced what Spurs have to offer and now it's Ange. Why does Stel or anyone else think that history is going to change with a new manager? There is a problem with this club and everyone knows what it is. Changing the manager will just result in the fans turning against that manager in a 1.5 - 2 seasons while Levy, the sith master, manipulates them all. I don't have an answer, but I have learned to manage my expectations where Spurs are concerned.

    34:00 - Stel, although Ange may have gotten behind the players that were signed (think of the uproar if he would have done differently). I don't believe that some of those players were his first choice signings. We sign players on a budget because that is the structure that Levy has put in place. We could have gotten Neto or Eze, but we didn't. Instead we have Werner, who is probably a really nice guy, but his football is not the best. Think of what the problem is with this club and realize that it will always be a problem until it is removed. Ange isn't the real problem and I think there are a lot of fans that realize this which explains why they support Ange with their loyalty.
    Also, concerning Ange stating that he wants to win. What do you want him to say, "I think we should be mid-table for a couple of seasons"? In order to be a winner, you have to think like one. That is what Ange was trying to convey to his players. To settle for anything other than victory, is not worthy of a professional footballer.

    You just simply cannot keep sacking managers, we know the huge time it takes to keep rebuilding. Ange needs the right players it’s simple and a big squad to work with. He doesn’t need to change his system since it’s philosophy, he has adjusted his system to play not so a high line. We have to see it out with Ange, this team is nowhere near the end result of what he wants. It’s still the middle of a rebuild. If we don’t see it out with Ange we will never know. Therefore see it through. We are talking about trying to build a winning team which takes time, Ange needs 2 more windows before we can really judge his football, yes we are struggling right now but it’s not Ange’s fault. Creating a toxic environment is NOT the answer, supporting the manager and the players is the best way to help us get out of this.
