It's so nice that they made the cartridge lid and grey piece separable enabling you to do nice custom paint jobs on the SNES Mini! Would it be possible to change the LED?
+Inquisitor Christopher maybe but there are 2 problems.. You need to modify the image of the original storage to take up the entire space Also the larger capacity might be blocked by the boot loader maybe
Flashed both the NES Classic and the SNES Classic (basically the same procedure). Got a lot of roms on there. Haven't used them in a year or so now though
Hi i have the Eu snes classic mini, and i plugged it in while on by accident and blew my fuse at home. I have opened it and was looking for a fried fuse and i was wondering what a fix could be? i work in IT but im not a computer engineer and dont know much about circuit boards. any advice would help? thank you
+Joseph Gianfrancesco hmm interesting. I’ll have a look at mine and see where the input fuse is or if there is in fact any protection.. It shouldn’t have damaged anything by simply plugging it in while switched on though??
Phil Dawson --- I know. I was telling you the answer to your question.... hackchi is the same program used to hack the NES classic. Since it's the same hardware in the SNES Classic, the program still works.
Phil Dawson ---- Lol. Don't be so unnecessarily aggressive. www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/miniSNES/comments/74xngo/new_official_hakchi2_release_official_snes_support/
If someone interested the white connectors for controller ports are JST ZH type
+mmaxeator thank you :)
Weird flex, but ok
I just got mine 2 days ago, AND I LOVE IT!
Retropie is better
6:07 is that ribbon cable possible to reattach easily? I saw you just pulled it off, and my power light doesn't work anymore. I suspect it's loose
Should be
11:30 could you add custom thermal pads to the other chips or would they not touch the heatsink without extra shims?

Yes you can change it :)
But can it run crysis?
+JailerGaming we need a SNES port of crysis !! 🙀🙀
Slot1Gamer xD
I'm wondering if it is at all possible to replace the storage with a larger one.
Nutter Natter --- What is OTG

Cool .did you try other systems on it
Do u now if u can add a saving chip to a faked super Nintendo mini
It depends on the exact one, there are a few versions out there
I love the American version, but I really want a European NSES too!
ADKIc3mAnXYT ---- will the pal model work in USA.
The European model runs in 60Hz and uses NTSC ROMs so it's almost exactly the same software. Wouldn't have any problem.
Deberias de hacer un video de como modificar el wii e instalar juegos tu video del softmode del xbox clasico me sirvio mucho saludos.
Nice Job!
+Gamer Eddy thanks :)

Joseph Gianfrancesco Today I faced the same exact problem! Have you found a solution? Is it possible to change the damaged fuse?
Can you mod it to run lots of roms
Depends on the OS, the console does boot into FEL mode but I haven't actually tried anything yet
