I Believe in "Liar" and Cyprus 2024. They can win, but that is my opinion. More than my own country with two twins from Norway. If they don´t win I still got my favorite in Eurovision Song Contest 2024. In Sweden.
You are such a lovely guy! Just found your channel and I really enjoyed your reaction! I am Cypriot and I am happy with our entry this year. Definitely not an anthem but a pretty solid entry, and I just love the presence of Silia! Let’s see how they will stage the song as I believe we could have a similar situation with Foureira when nobody really cared about the video clip but then the staging was phenomenal! (Subscribed 🙈)
As an Australian I just love how they have chosen another Australian artist. I do think it's a little weird she's not 18 yet and I do think ESC should raise the age limit to 18 after what happened with Greece last year. It's so much pressure on someone so young but Silia does look very confident and professional 🇨🇾🇦🇺🫶
Hello there! 💖 I like this! The beat and rhythm is heavy here and keeps me "dancing" right through the song. I like the weight in the beat in the entrance to the chorus and the shifts in the rhythm in the beat drop/the bridge. This is obviously a bop with a nice production and I can see it going well as she seems to be competent singing and dancing. The negative thing about this is that it is quite predictable and lyrically quite empty. And I notice that the more I hear the song, the less effect it has on me unlike others who make their mark. But as a bop with a potentially impactful stage number, it absolutely works for me 😊. This is a hundred times better than Malta for me Shane 💖😉🤗
Even though they are in different halves, this song will be competing against Tali's "Fighter" in Semi-Final 1. More importantly...a lot of female songs will be competing against each other: -Ukraine 🇺🇦 -Cyprus 🇨🇾 -Poland 🇵🇱 -Ireland 🇮🇪 (Possibly Serbia 🇷🇸) -Slovenia 🇸🇮 (Possibly Iceland 🇮🇸) (Possibly Portugal 🇵🇹) -Luxembourg 🇱🇺 ...at the very least But this is in my top 5 female-lead songs this year so far, so I have hopes
Love this song! It's one of my favourites already 😍 Eurovision has set up the bar too high this year, and I'm so here for it! 😝 Croatia is still my winner tho 😉
Decent but i won’t lie i wanted and needed it to have a bit more oomph in the chorus to fully sell it to me especially because i actually really enjoy the prechorus part. It’s still very solid and a very likely qualifier imo. If i was Luxembourg it might be time to worry because we know Silias is gonna fully perform…
Cyprus never disappoints me and neither does it this year. Nevertheless, this is a bit Israel 🦄2.0 in my opinion. But of all the female bops of this year, this might be my favourite. Cyprus, Luxemburg and Poland are in the same semi though, so that might be a problem.
Its a very competent effort, Cyprus are doing what they know best, bops. In terms of the performance, I think this might end up being the most polished performances in terms of the bops, however I think I might prefer Luxembourg and Malta's songs. If theres one thing ive learned about this style of entry is to never underestimate a female bop where the performer can dance.
I really like the start of the chorus but then it gets ruined for me when the beat just dies and they just repeat the word liar, clearly for the purpose of a dance break which I am not a fan of. It's my 14th place at the moment. Its a decent song but nothing too special.
It's not bad but it's the type of song you hear 20 times a day on the radio and which makes you think of Dua Lipa Cyprus always sends quality but this time it lacks creativity. Now it's just my opinion and we must salute the work that was carried out
It's an okay song, but she has a very good voice. Let's wait for the live performance to see, if I change my mind. This year my favorite female bop is deffinately Luxembourg!
Unsurprisingly, this is ‘Shane-nip’. I think I enjoyed the video more than the song though. Of the 3 girly bops so far (or 4 if you include Poland), Luxembourg is my favourite.
The song is fine. But it is currently barely in my top 10. So it might be leaving top 10 soon. So I wonder if this will make top 10 for many people and be enough for a lot of people to vote for it.
I was super stoked for this song and honestly i'm so conflicted 😭😭 I LOOOOVE the chorus & dance breakdown but the verses, in my opinion, are really weak. They almost feel like a demo cut? idk they just sound unfinished compared to the production and how hard the prechorus/chorus hits! Hopefully the verses grow on me but that's my initial feeling!
Lately there’s a plethora of information in your videos… do you think a more “traditional” female bop may stand out given the mix of songs this year aka super silly and/or super odd??… Wait, you talk about social media at work? Have I been a Guinea pig all along ? 😳
Vincent plethora is my word of the month Hahaha 😆 Little did you know YES you have been a great guinea pic haha. You make a good point about standing out. I think there is a big market of ME's haha who want to pick up the phone for this haha
The video is a little cringy but the song undeniably fun for the most part... Not sure her being there has a lot to do with it 🤷🏻♂️ but much prefer it over 🇲🇹 or 🇱🇺 Curious how that other version with the singer from last years selection in Greece would have been... Forgot the name
It just sounds like a normal catchy pop song. Nothing special in my opinion. I think she’s a sure qualifier but I don’t see her cracking the top 10. Maybe something similar to Andrew last year.
The hype was big about this song but unfortunately it is not as good as I thought. Pretty much copy/paste female bop. Not bad, but also nothing special. And the video is cheap as hell😂
@@ShanesEurovisionReview gold Outfit doesn't make it look expensive 😂 a hotel with pool, average actors, dancing in the restaurant... So cliche.. Sorry
@@esckeenyah The song videos have nothing to do with the live performance. I can understand that most judge a song just by looking at the video. What do you think of Cyprus's song for Eurovision 2024? Let me know in the comments below 👇 ⬇
I like Cyprus entry! I believe SILIA would do a great job on stage in May, she will be in the final and probably a top ten result! 😊❤

Of all this year’s girlie bops Silia is the most confident and fierce for sure
Agreed
The song is stronger than I expected, I’m more excited for this to be performed, knowing how great of a singer and dancer she is! 😁

She is just a superstar and her stage presence will be epic I’m not lying😏
She is the number one!!!!❤❤❤❤of Eurovision 2024...
Love Cyprus. A sure top 7 final result
You are AMAZING and Silia is AMAZING and Cyprus has the best fresh pop song of this year!!!
LOVE the Cyprus song this year. Exactly what we wanted.
Love this song !!!
It's a banger , definitely top 10 at least !!!

This deserves a top 6 place, but it won't be due to the weird voting system. It will be 12th-15th place.

definitely the strongest of the girl bops so far but kaleen is taking that crown in a few hours
Kathleen is so great

this feels a bit more different. does not really resemble all other previous Eurovusion female bops.

Hum.... I dunno, not feeling it just yet. 🤔 And I'm enjoying Lx song. Hope it's a grower!
But of luck Cyprus.
Agree with some of the comments. First half is strong second boring.

Such a gay anthem! It does leaving you wanting me. I want more of the chorus…
I admit the chorus of Shady Lady and Let's Dance (previous songs by the songwriter) have more instantaneous and catchier choruses ❤️
It just sounds like a normal catchy pop song. Nothing special in my opinion. I think she’s a sure qualifier but I don’t see her cracking the top 10. Maybe something similar to Andrew last year.
Malta is a Chanel and Noa Kirel mash up & misses...It’s a pass for me. She should revamp and come up with something more original. Just my two cents
