    Thank you for your informative videos. On the Toto 550 how do you control the seat opening. Every time you go into the bathroom the seat opens. I would like to disable.

    Thank you! Do you have a video on the back of the remote buttons? My remote does not have a screen on the back; just buttons.

    Thank you for this video. We just got an S550e installed as part of a new bathroom remodel. When the remote is left idle, the water pressure and nozzle position revert to defaults. This means you have to choose a preset to have the pressure and position be correct. Is there any way to have the remote not do this? I've never used a bidet that behaves like this.

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  11 місяців тому

      Thanks for watching! The S550e does not remember last used setting like some bidets so it has a default it reverts to unless you use the saved user presets.

      Thank you so much for the prompt reply@@ManyBidets ! Do you know if this behavior is unique to the S550e? Does the Toto C5 remote also do this?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  11 місяців тому +1

      @@garykercheck9291 I believe the C5 will also revert. There are some seats on the market that default to the last used settings, but TOTOs seats I believe all revert to a default setting unless you select the preset.

    I need a replacement remote for this model. Do you know where i can find one? I can only seem to find aftermarket options, not the actual remote. Thanks!

      Great question! Going to TOTO directly is going to be your best bet to find a replacement.

    Can I use the autoflush feature on a non-stop toilet?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  Рік тому

      You can not use the auto flush feature on a non-toto toilet sadly. We do sell the full units if you decide to replace your toilet.

      How do I prevent the seat from flipping up, the toilet “turning on” when I approach it and then auto-flushing when done? Do I just need to unplug it from the wall? In the middle of the night this thing wakes my spouse with all of its actions.

    I've got 2 bidets. One is the BioBidet - that goes thru it's entire cycle. Drying and all. This Toto SW3084T40...seems like we have to press a button to go thru every move. Are we missing something? Thank you!

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  Рік тому +1

      You are referencing the "auto wash" function. The TOTO C5 (SW3084T40) does not have that feature. We have a good number of seats that do offer that feature if it's one you're looking for. Should you want to chat further about our recommended seats that offer that feature, simply reach out!!

      @@ManyBidets Thank you! We own both...I just thought I was so stupid and couldn't figure out that it didn't have an auto feature...FOR THAT KIND OF MONEY!!! Good thing I got the Toto for 100 bucks. The BioBidet's features are much nicer IMO...Thanks for such a quick response. This was great!

    So I have a S550E that's a couple years old and when you click the wash function, it goes to soft wash first then hard wash second (like seen in your video). I just purchased a new S550E for another bathroom and it goes to hard wash first instead of soft, which I like. Is it possible to designate which is selected on the first press? I haven't seen anything in the option menus for it.

      We've had others ask this question as well, and we did not know the answer, so a few months ago, we reached out to TOTO and asked. Sadly we were informed that in late 2020, TOTO changed the default setting on their S550e seat to start with the hard wash, and there's no way to configure it to start with soft... We've asked them to keep us up to date if anything changes.

      @@ManyBidets OMG, this is the first time I've found an answer to this! What is hilarious is we bought 2 of these 550e seats at the same time, and they have different defaults. They must have been some old inventory, and some new inventory.
