Gebroeders Dieleman van Eeckhout discuss faith, grief & musical playgrounds while recording

Gebroeders Dieleman van Eeckhout is the new collaborative project of Colin H. van Eeckhout (Amenra) and broeder Dieleman. The former is captain of one of metal's most innovative live acts, whereas the latter writes idiosyncratic Zealandic folk songs, intersecting pop and experimental idioms. Both have at least one thing in common; they are performers who achieve a captivating spiritual fervor on stage.
Earlier this year, the duo recorded their collaborative album at the Mennonite Church in Middelburg; recordings that were supported by Le Guess Who?. During the recordings, we visited Colin and Tonnie in Middelburg to discuss their recordings, faith, grief, brotherhood, and musical playgrounds.
