Not in the highlights shown here. But Medvedev's racket throw that went off court was an incident that lead to discussions between the two teams. It really was a bit embarassing which is probably why you see the muted reactions at the end.
I don't think so - a lot of guys tend to overhit against him because he gets so many balls back and plays so far back with such flat shots. You need controlled aggression and move up to the net at the right time, also throw in a bit of serve & volley and dropshot him at times. Ben showed he can play that way. The team atmosphere of Laver Cup also suits him, he seems to thrive in that atmosphere. Interesting that these two hadn't met before.
Neah, he did care but I think he has a problem with the whole team concept, he botched it at the Olympics as well with Mirra Andreeva, who otherwise got to the final in women's doubles. He needs to open up to others more. And Zverev cared, he really fought his way out of the match with Tiafoe.
Where's the "FUMING"?
Well he threw his racket at one point, almost hitting a photographer... i guesd that's why

Medvedev really needs to increase the offence. He’s probably the most comfortable player to play on tour when you are a big hitter.
his forehand is not good enough ti increase the offence
@@thebigmonstaandy6644 it’s not about groundstroke quality it’s about just applying pressure right and making the Court feel small for the opponent 👍
@@mattjagar6324 yes. but if you dont have strong forehand, you cant be offensiv player

Medvedev was a shame in this tournament, don't stand a pressure. Playing like robot...
Did anyone see the "fuming" part? Disliked and reported
He threw his racket and almost hit a photographer at the side of the court.
Fuming,, Jesus the ridiculous click bait titles are embarrassing, You would expect that from amateurs!
Not sure why he doesn't go to the net, he set up the net 3-4 time with the forehand only to lose the point after because of that.
It cant be seen here but he threw the raquet and it bounced off the court to where some photographers/staff were. Thats the ”fuming” part.
I maybe missed it but where is the fumming part?
Where was the Fuming?
meddy with his constant demands for applause, needs to make sure he doesn't get ears like an african elephant.
Er........?
Now it's becoming obvious, Medvedev and Zverev don't really give a duck about Laver Cup
Medvedev cared a lot. Maybe a little too much. This becomes more apparent when watching the whole match.
Zverev won over Tiafoe... its Med that lost all his matches.

Next year please dont call Med for the European team....
Good good. Medvedev has no place on that European team.
How so?
@@williammills3444 cause he keeps losing and throws rackets here and there....
