Hi everyone!! I know it's been five years since I released this video, and I had no idea would reach so many people. Well, I finally recorded a new Castlevania soundtrack since I came out with this video, and I'm super excited to share it with you all. Symphony of the Night Dracula's Castle: ua-cam.com/video/mK2txMgNEvo/v-deo.html Show some love to my new cover!
This is a beautiful rendition Sherry! This brought back so many childhood memories from when I played the video games. I believe this would be perfect for an opening and/or closing credits scene if they were to ever make a Castlevania movie. Great work!
@@NoNonsenseSpider It should nothing... Its her version of the song. She said on description, its her cover, she can change the hell she want. If you want to listen the "right" tempo, go search for OST then, or go play yourself. Arrangement or cover, it doesnt matter, its her way to play the song. Dont say its "wrong tempo" she didnt try to play exactly the same as the original and she got her tempo right. Btw, this song got a lot of different versions, even for the netflix show, it was really a bad comment. Have a good day
Haruto Setsumoto You can feel it as much as you want. The rhythm changes quite a bit during the piece. I play by ear most of the time anyway so I dont have a problem with messing up.
Thank you! My favorite rendition of Castlevania's music, Bloody Tears! All of you who play this beautiful music, God bless you, you make my day whenever I see this type of beautiful interpretations, TRUE talent!
"You play magnificently well, watching you play brings me to an appeasing and gentle world while being dramatically deep at the same time. Its crazy! Thanks for all these emotions you made feel, Keep playing and dont stop!" I've got a lot of spare time on my hand.
Marek Jablonski well, after hear metal version, this can look slow But the actual speed is perfect, you can feel the melancholy of the castle, the agony and the feeling of be alone and forgotten in that place
You play with such grace and fluidity. Even when UA-cam is lagging, you're a joy to watch, and always a joy to hear. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you.
I learned Toccatina about 2-3 years ago, and I'm sad to say that I've completely lost it all. I don't have the time and energy to relearn it. :/ I'm sorry! Maybe in the future I will bring it back for good.
this brought tears to my eyes, all the nostalgia. i used to watch over my brothers shoulder as he played and i would cheer him on when he was in battle. you were amazing.
Though from a technical standpoint this is better, to me, it takes a close second to rey’s composition. There is something about that one that almost makes you feel as if he is channeling darkness from within. Hauntingly beautiful
Gracious like the wind flow like water. Your movements to the music looked very synchronized. Beautiful job on playing the piano of this Castlevania song.
Sherry Kim i absolutely love the way you played this piece. You felt the adventure, making your way through all manner of dangers to finally face Dracula. Well done.
Nice playing! I like how you took time to make a more reflective, understated section in a song where too many people just wanna shred. Very musical performance - I'm impressed!
i came back to this video after three years because back then, i told myself: when i get better at the piano, i WILL learn this song! and here i am, learning it!! i love your cover so much uwu thank you for posting this cover and making me inspired to learn this!
I'm leaving a comment because I've seen this video and then moved on to the next half a hundred times; well done. This is moving beyond words. Well done.
Waow, you really hypnotize me. I jumped off my chair when my phone rang and woke me up of my numbness. That's amazing the way you play this beautiful song !
I was looking up the original 8 bit soundtrack and came across this... Sherry, that was incredibly proficient and expressive. In my humble opinion its up there with Chopin Bacarolle ops 60
why everytime i hear this piece my heart bursting out, like im out of my self, all the keys makes my heart go crazy, i don't know if im happy or just the piece of art like this makes me go emotional.
Excelent. Among all piano covers on UA-cam I`ve found it absolutely best. I like how you enjoing playing it, not just simply push the buttons. My respect to you!
This, honestly, is the best amateur piano cover/recording I have heard of this song! It really captures the spooky feeling and vibe and really gives me a vibe of vampires, the night, castles and all that stuff. :)
Brought here as related from from Laurence Manning's cover, but I don't know who is better. The passion, the authenticity, they're both so good. I think I like the slightly varying tempo on this one a little bit more, but it's so hard to choose...
3 years ago I found out there were piano versions of this song and watched them in awe. I had been watching a lot of music related content and was just absolutely dumbfounded by this piece. A week later I had gotten a keyboard and tried learning piano. Remembering where all the keys were and watching D.C. Izumi's composition of it to learn to play. Not recommended, btw, but that's how I did it up until after that first interlude where it plays the iconic theme. After a while I just lost interest and left it behind. I'd hum the music sometimes because I've listened to the whole thing so many times. Easily double digits by now. I remember coming across your rendition of this song, Sherry, and you made this song which is intended to be played 4/4 (which is really fast if you look at all the shit in each measure) sound magical and slow to start before really picking up. It fills me with such emotion every time I hear it. A couple months ago, almost as if being given a sign by God, a client I work with has a piano in her house (I'm a home health aide) and I felt that overwhelming pleasure of this song wash over me again. The next couple days I relearned the part I had already learned, along with learning how to read sheet music. It helps a lot being able to look at a sheet of paper instead of watch a video and mess around with video controls. After talking to my family about my interest in playing the piano again, I got one for Christmas. It's not uncommon to find them for free, and they simply need some tuning, but this one in particular sounds unbelievably pretty. I'm still working along, and am at 1:27 in the video, but my drive to learn the rest of the song is far greater than it ever has been. Thank you. Nobody else I've heard has played this as well as you have, and are a great inspiration for my journey. I hope life is treating you well, and you continue to touch people with your music.
Beautiful, I grew up with these games as a child and an NES. This is likely the best version I have ever heard, makes me smile back on memories. :) Well done!
Castlevania OSTs are just nostalgic! Hats off to you, that was legendary. Just asking : Can you try Castlevania lament of innocence house of sacred remains? Please....
I've heard a version of this song before, same exact key notes and all but orchestrated. You did such an amazing job with it. If any one wants to look it up search musicvania playlist on the browser and it's literally the first song.

Wrong tempo sadly
