I went to Bario Ramen last week in Hawaii; it was so good! The ramen base had depth of rich flavor and the pork char siu was so tender I'm glad you brought this place to my attention 😊
Hi to the cutest couple on UA-cam! Love the review tonight, feel like we are all back in Japan again! Such great memories! Thanks for sharing this video!🎉❤
Would love to see you guys back in Japan! Start planning for a trip in October. Aki (Fall) is my favorite season in Japan because of the pleasant temperatures, beautiful autumn leaves (kōyō), and oishii fruit (persimmons, pears, grapes, apples) and other food including mushrooms, kabocha pumpkin, chestnuts, and sweet potatoes, etc. in warm dishes like oden and nabemono (hot pots). Maybe check out the Tōhoku district north of Tōkyō, including a new view of Aomori which you visited on your last trip.
Guys, on your next trip to Japan, please plan on coming to Okinawa! We have great food and friendly people like me!! Take care and keep making awesome content.
Aloha Amanda & Felix. That food hall looks great! Mahalo for showing us this food hall and all of the delicious foods you tried. I wish they would have brought back the Japanese food hall in Ala Moana, sad that it closed.
Happy Saturday Foodie Ohana! I’m sorry I couldn’t watch you guys until today, but it was worth the wait. You guys know the legit places. The ramen looked so good on a rainy Hawai’i day. I can’t wait to show you guys Mexican Ramen when you guys come to Arizona. Love you guys! 🤙🏽❤️🍜🌧️🌈🌴
The ramen at this place looks really good, but you guys should try a place out there called Menya Le Noods. I recommend the Menya Le ramen with tonkotsu broth, and soft shell garlic shrimp.
Oh wow! This one had me drooling and wanting to book a flight home! It may be the winter syorm hitting us, but that ramen looked amazing. That you kept saying it reminded you of Japan and seeing the kitchen action, made me craving ramen!! But then that photo with the donut… The dessert looked right up my alley!!!! I wish they made those here! For sure I’m gonna try that when I rwturn home! Great job Amanda and Felix!!! Can’t wait to see what you share next!! Mahalo!!!!❤😀👍🏿
Hey guys. Great video. I’m sure both of you were stuffed after those big bowls of noodles. The Ramen looked great. Thanks for the tip on that food hall. I’ll be sure to look for it whenever I get back to Honolulu.
Mahalo you two! I don't comment that much but just wanted to pop in and say my wife and I always look forward to your videos. Been watching since 2019. I've commented before that I love how Amanda emphasizes the "t"s in button unlike a lot of people who say "buh-un" 😁 By the way, it would be nice to see you guys back in Japan but it would be even nicer if WE were back in Japan 😄 Love it there. Aloha 🤙🏽
Aloha, Amanda & Felix...Wowie...Love Ramen and Pho. Ramen Bario is good stuff & I can attest to that. As far as the noodle preference it depends which ramen I am eating. Really hard to pick thick or thin if you are a ramen eater. For Ribs & Broth have not had that Pho yet. I would like to try it. The ribs seemed tender, but my gut feeling is that they could have been more fall of the bone ribs. Felix is the Pho master so he would know. As always, I trust his review. Did I hear Amanda say dessert? That one looked soooo ono. I'm jealous now & gotta take a trip to Nana's, LOL. And lastly, do we want to see you take another trip to JAPAN? OH, HELL YES!!!!!!!!! With all respect to LOCAL, that was some of your best video footage ever. I really enjoyed it and would love to contribute to that. Thanks for the great episode today. Mahalo Plenty married couple....
Bario is good. I like tsukemen. I also enjoyed Tempura Kiki too. Nana's hojicha ice cream was really nostalgic of Japan. I will try the Broth & Rib next time. Thanks for the review.
Mmm, I've been wanting to find a place that would bring back memories of ramen in Japan....thanks for highlighting this area in Waikiki! Now if they only had black sesame soft serve....😂 Looking forward to trying this place, thanks for taking us along on another great food adventure. 🥰
I’d love to see a video of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Oahu. We’re going to be there in August and would love to see some recommendations. Thanks for sharing!
Yummy! Asian noodle streets are popular in Northern California, mostly in the South San Jose area. You guys should visit San Jose for Vietnamese noodles for sure. Coming to you from Mountain View, California. I used to live in the Southern California area, LA County area. Mahalo for eating and stuff.
Felix's tsukemen looked really good! By coincidence, last night I was just watching an NHK-World program on Hiroshima ramen where they also use back fat, but they don't put it through a strainer. It's just quarter-sized lumps of fat. Good to know we can get something similar in Hawaii! Thanks for the review!
I used to go here for a tempura place pre covid but they closed and the new tempura spot doesn't look as good. For black garlic ramen, its Golden Pork on king St for me.
Some legit ramen spots! Thanks again for another satisfying video! Also is there a contact email to reach out to you guys regarding merch design ideas? Mahalo!
Wow that mochi ice cream looked so amazing. Felix be careful with too much very spicy food. This is coming from a 70 year old🤣 Soon to be 71. My husband and I both have the same birthday, March 26 (Kuhio Day) except two years apart. We always say how can we forget because our bday is the same. Watching the both of you makes me feel young again. Take care. Love and blessings ❤️🌺🙏❤️
You tell us mahalo for watching, we say mahalo for eating. Now me hungry! Coming to you from Vancouver Island.
Mahalo for the support 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I'm so hungry now! Yeah go Japan again too! Thanks for all the yummy food! Congratz on the 50K again! Wooohooo!!! Sooo good! Funny outtakes too! 🤣

Mahalo Gail! 🤙

I used to go here for a tempura place pre covid but they closed and the new tempura spot doesn't look as good. For black garlic ramen, its Golden Pork on king St for me.

Love the Kiki tempura restaurant in Stix Asia, just like Japan

Can you buy sticky rice to cook yourself at someplace like Foodland or Safeway?
My son and I are going to be in Waikiki in about 2 weeks. Everyone looks soooo ONO. Mahalo
We hope to get to try some of these places! Mahalo! 🤙
Went to Bario. They are so nice and the ramen is the bomb.
Put some soy sauce on the beef, brings flavor back to the meat. Or dip into soy sauce with vinegar, ct sf/ca
Felix does that at certain ramen places! Mahalo for the tip! 🤙
Shoyu in Hawaii soy sauce everywhere else
We will try this place Asian hall😊
Definitely check them out! 🤙
