I've noticed in a few of Tokido's Akuma matches that he doesn't always follow up the tatsu juggle with something. I wonder if this is some sort of reset attempt or if it's a positioning thing. I can't imagine he's dropping these follow ups but he's the only one I've seen do this.
Oh, right, yeah, you can if you get the first hit of medium tatsu in addition to the second and third -- you get one of the later hits of heavy DP. It adds like 20 damage for way worse oki, though. It's bad enough to forget about. At least in this video, the times that Tokido lands m tatsu don't involve the first hit, so it's a moot point here. (3:45 , 4:10)
Nash also received longer recovery on his V-Trigger if I'm not mistaken, and they also fixed Medium Sonic Scythe to have less push back on block and also made it -10 for easier punishes. They also took out a few V-Trigger resets.
it would be a tragedy if tokido doesnt win evo. i dont think hes the best. i think infiltration and knuckldu better but no doubt tokido is working the hardest.
