My expectations for Rome is 50-60 catches with 700 yards 8-10 tds...minimum. defenses can't double cover 3 receivers, and I believe Caleb will be able to find the open receiver most of the time
Agree with the yards and catches but 8+ TDs is a stretch for a rookie WR. Even true #1's like Julio Jones only went over 8 TDs once in his career. I think 3 TDs as a minimum is more reasonable.
The reason this is very probable is due to Shane Waldron. Bears are going to put London on notice. Chicago will take Europe by storm. I can see it now - some talking head in the media claiming Andy Reid and Mahomes were scared of Da Bears for declining/complaining of playing Chicago last year in the schedule creation. London game will be historical to say the least. This may be the first time Tyson Bagent is out of country except for traveling with his dad on wrestling tour. 🐻⬇️🧆🏝️

I think Caleb will throw for 3200 - 3400 yards between Moore, Allen, & Odunze. This does not include the rest of the team. I believe these three WR's will awesome.

Do you guys want to sign Keenan Allen to an extension? If so how many years and at what price? Do you gamble and have him “prove it” this year? I personally think his professionalism and his knowledge at the position and what he has shown he can do despite not being the “biggest” and “fastest” receiver. I think he would be great to really maximize our young wide receiver room, especially Rome.
Leaning towards Bates starting at center, because he has the better beard (by a lot). 🙂

Honestly Justin Fields got 7 wins with only DJ Moore & a C- offensive line that injured. Williams at worst should at least get 9-8 record. If fields had this new team, Justin would have 10 wins & that's Facts to all the guys who don't know Football 🏈
He only lead them to five wins as he missed four games, Bagent lead them to the other two. And you can speculate about how many wins Fields would have this team all you want but speculation does not equal facts no matter how bad you want it to nor does it mean you know any more or less about football than those who don't agree with you.
Please please please stop right now this growing assumption that Chicago will begin the season with a win over Tennessee. Its a rookie qb in a brand new offense.

The bears are historically known for collapsing, Eberflus defense collapses in the 4th quarter and not just in Chicago so I need to see it to believe it. We bears fans get our hopes up every year and almost every year we are disappointed.

1. The Bears have to rally behind a rookie QB... and continue to do things when things go off-rails this season. Eberflus has to hype him up because, he's a lame-duck Head Coach.
"I don't believe in Caleb Williams". There are plenty of college QBs that don't make it in the pros. I'm with Merril Hoge Williams won't be able to make 75% of the plays he made in college
in the pros. The learning curve is pretty steep.
2. Why the Bears will underperform this year is because of leadership mainly Coaching and GM. Still 10-24 and bottom 5 in the league. Now they have a really easy schedule they should
be a playoff team but I am not high because of their track record. For me it looks like Poles is taking his turn on drafting a QB high in the first round. Everything Poles and Eberflus
has shown is that they are not the people are proven to break the wheel.
3. Rome Odunze the best rookie receiver? No, Marvin Harrison Jr. is head and shoulders above any rookie in this draft. Could have been a Bear with a 2nd&3rd round pick plus a 1st or
2nd round pick in next year's draft.
4. If Poles would have kept Fields and drafted MHJ, Jared Verse and Jackson Powers-Johnson the with another 3rd round pick and an early pick next year. The Bears would be a playoff team
for sure. The Bears went 7-10 with the worst collection of offensive coaching, fewest number of playmakers and a bottom 3rd pass blocking o-line.
5. That's a lot of "if's" in your analysis. Will the Bears be a top 10 offense is "Laughable". The highest they will be this year is 15th or 16th.
6. The Bears should sign Connor Williams if healthy to play or a DE. RB or CS it doesn't matter it's going to be Lucas Patrick/Cody Whitehair 2.0.
For some reason Poles doesn't like the center position by not drafting or signing a quality center. Instead, he is enjoys watching is QB get consistently pour protection up the middle.
