Love Doc Martin, love Martin Clunes. I found this series after my separation with my X, couldn't afford satellite, so I only watched local channels. Glad I found this series. I finally bought the whole series 1-9 lol, and some other of his movies included Manhunt. I wrote him a letter last December, and received a nice letter from him with a couple of his pictures. I'm in love.
Have found this show on PBS this year here in America. It has become our favorite show in our house, can't wait for another episode each Saturday night.
I love the way he explains the whole 4th series. He talks about Edith's real motives and the fact that Louisa does not want him involved with the pregnancy.
I have noticed that MC says that a lot, you know that the Americans are not really aware of Doc Martin. He did a radio interview with this guy promoting the new series, he said that American Doc's write him and say House is not potraying a real Doctor. but Doc Martin is, and he is more real and believeable . MC then said "you know they have only been getting it a year over there on PBS." I don't know why he thinks that someone should let him know. I've watched for at least 3 years. Love him!

Love Doc Martin! Wish he were my doctor!! ha! He seems to know every ailment and condition and the remedy for each. I'm American and I've missed out on some of the series... my PBS station keeps re-airing and then skipping certain episodes!! I'm trying to catch up! I'm addicted also!! But it's only been on a year or so. No comparison to House...House is very different and not funny!!!
