I'm actually coming out with a video on this very soon. You are wrong about the lobby size, there are only two options given to improve solo. Either que and you play one round and you're out, or you play best 2 of 3 tournament style. This gets healers in and out of games faster, which means more games for everyone.
Are you telling me 50 extra conquest is not good enough. I'm shock to hear this. I saw we get 50 extra conquest and it made que healer right away. No one said.
For me, I really find it difficult to stay attached to other MMOs that have a lot of horizontal progression. WoW does a nice job of giving you that dopamine, then you plateau for a while but always have the ability to squeeze an extra few percent of added power by doing some hardcore grinding. It's great.
I think that they need to add a feature at the end of Battleground Blitz. Your team can vote to decide to que in to a regular RBG. If your group succesfully ques, you will get extra conq and honor from the RBG
Solo Shuffle, first healer that wins 2 or 3 rounds ends the game. Healers get's stacks of SOLO VIP buff for every full game completed, it's account wide. The Buff let's you queue another alt / dps at reduced queue time, basicly jump in front of the line, depending on the stacks, you lose a stack when you enter a solo shuffle game as a dps. You get rewarded to play healer and effects your dps alt queue time. The Vaut PVP reward should be split from the PVE vault. The 3x PVP reward from the new pvp vault should be 5 pve item level higher then your current level, so it actually works for pvp and it also rewards PVE players. Would kinda force PVE player to do rated pvp to get an extra PVE/PVP reward.
Hey man, love your videos. im a returning player and i only PVP. I am stuck on what class to main for PVP and going into TWW. What would you choose out of Demon hunter, Warrior or Death knight to main for a pvp toon? Thank you!
I think there should be more participation rewards. Like the vicious mount, change the win arena above 1k condition to play above 1k condition. Incentivise less pvp oriented people to at least give it a try. Make healers gain rating on draw, damn make them gain some rating even if it's 4-2.
4:24 Baj I think that this system is good but for pve where it makes sense to close the gap between the next tear. For PvP I do think that ppl should just get their gear relatively easy which will open the doors for more ppl to join in :)
The BMAH box to chase should be implemented (well, maybe not a BMAH but rather, better rewards than a seasonal mount) and the battlepass idea should be for healers & dps with healers getting a lot more and/or different rewards like transmogs, consumables (that can be sold) and etc. PvP is really really bad when it comes to gold making, so giving some maxed out potions, flasks, runes, etc every so often will incentivize people playing more.
yea the fear not breaking for 3 seconds, means it was a 3 second stun, not on stun DR, into a stun. THAT is the problem. It was a good fear, but it should have broken on Sterge if he's getting blasted.
They could definitely adjust MMR for healers only. Maybe you don't lose rating as easily but not a never ending grind. Healers still like to have an idea of how they compare to other healers and not be just based on how many games one played.
I know I'm an oldhead who loved OG world PVP, but I still think the move to instanced PvP instead of having open world PVP incentives and events is a massive failure on the wow pvp team's side. Arenas are tired, I'd like to see some more innovation on the PVP outside of Arenas.
I loved the WoD pvp gearing system more than all the recent ones( please note I haven't played DF so I can't count that one). It was simple and to the point
They should just make it to where if you can manage to hit 2k-2400 as a healer you get a wow token. More people will definitely try PvP and try to grow if they can get a free month or hold hands down
Why would i want to push above 2400cr on my healers if i KNOW for a fact that AWC healers are struggling at 2400? There's NO incentive for me to keep playing my healer above 2100... its just not fun, and not rewarding. Btw, just got 2400 on my ret, never played dps before XD Nice video Baj! Love those reacts.
i feel like they should re-balance it in such a way where healers arnt just heal bots. They should do a fair amount of damage too. I know some healers do damage rn but i mean a lot more than they currently do and every healer should do damage not just a few. Obviously they shouldnt do as much as a DPS but they should feel strong. Just make healers better then the other classes. I have no clue how to accomplish this but i think if healers were just stronger than everyone else a lot more people would play them. Now that would change the way 3s is played considerably but its just a thought. Everyone wants people to play healers; just make them way better then everything else and more people would.
I never played a healer, in any game, it's not a playstyle of my preference, but I do have big respect for all healer players behind my butt. That being said, do you think it would help to get more healers to q and play shuffle if, you would not lose rating at all, so you could only climb up (only if queueing as heal). The worst case scenario is you won't move up. M+ rating is basically that. You deplete key, you lose time with some terrible group of screaming randos, but you don't fall in rating. The current rating of M+ does not recognize specs, but the rio score that was even before official ingame rating for M+ does that, it says that this and this player got that rating as tank, and that as heal. Edit: Okay Pika mentions something similar later in vid lol, nvm.
I haven't played WoW since the start of DF so maybe im a bit ignorant, but people have been saying wow arena is dying/dead since mop. We're just at another low point boys we got this. Legion came right after WoD dont forget
the gearing system kinda gets to me, each season farm the same items you already have but at a higher ilvl but wait dont forget you have to upgrade those same items yet again ... also the game could honestly do with removing addons all together and bring back player skill and knowledge instead of download skill, alot of players wouldnt even get rating without addons telling them what to press and when. also ive always thought that removing addons and macros even would stop bots from being able to function in wow also. at one point i stopped playing retail because all i did was pvp but the pvp i did was mostly pve due to the botted thing people had going where all they had to do was move their character and all their spells/rotations would be done automatically, or subtle things like a macro making it so you can never miss an interrupt when precog was added into wow, little things like that i think should just be automatically implemented into the game if it was intended to play out where blizzard wanted you to spam you kick button not using its cd because your target isnt casting yet.. I love wow and will most likely play the new expansion but fear that its gonna be ruined by addons, guides or rotation botting.. also some games use a rating system that once you reach one rank you cant lose that rank, you can still lose rating but once you get a rank its locked in making it a much friendlier environment to grind your ranks i think something like this for wow pvp would be a big fix to mmr issues, ive seen many people get to 2390 and then get knocked down to 1900 and need to grind back up again and then never trying for 2400 again maybe only going for 2100 if they still play pvp that is.
This video is why I've opted towards a simpler, less complicated, build for every class I play. I always select talents and builds that make it so I don't have to press as many buttons. I don't care if it's not optimal, there's just so much shit going on in the game I can't be bothered. I just want to sling spells, swing weapons, and do cool stuff and I WANNA BE ABLE TO HAVE ENOUGH MENTAL CAPACITY LEFT OVER AFTER TRACKING 1200 THINGS TO ADMIRE THE COOL SHIT.
Poly/Clone should have a 20 sec CD. All CC should have a max duration of 3-4 secs. There are too many snares and roots. Half the game is spent in CC and reality is you should barely be in CC and only CCed at crucial moments. Right now with the abundance of CC it removes the PvP and skill.
I just want simple Class roles again. Way less CC/Bloat and for Tanks to be in a great spot in PvP. Especially for BG/RBGs and WPvP which for a lot of players is the PvP that matters. There is nothing better then some Prot PvP.
We def need to bribe healers to play 100%, also they need to make it something like if you go 3 and 3 you gain a couple rating like literally 3-5 rating or something, so you don't have situation where you gain 0 rating etc. makes it feel pointless, people winning 3/4 rounds and getting 0 rating turned off Alot of casual players ( i know everyone hates casuals but you need them for reasonable que times)
In my eyes, if we want to attract players to PvP in general, have a renown track for the season. The more you PvP the higher you progress (very similar to a battle pass // think plunderstorm) and unlock toys, cosmetics and reward boxes. Secondly, make the end of season rewards for all competitive modes of PvP reward you for your efforts. Rank 1 in solo shuffle for you class? Earn a very rare season cosmetics // armor color for rank 1 or a recolor for this season's glad mounts. If we truly want more participation in PvP modes, there needs to be more goals and rewards imho.
I don't think adding in special r1 armors and recolored glad mounts are going to attract new players lol. That's just another high end reward most will never see
I'm not just complaining, but hunters are a SERIOUS problem. I just logged in at the start of season 4 after not playing my hunter since season 1 i still had item level 411 gear from season 1. I was hitting for 250-400k..... my fully honor geared warrior (515 ilvl) over 100 item levels more, and i barely hit over 100k if I'm lucky. With an item level difference that large something is not adding up.
I play both pvp and pve (mainly m+) and I think pve is far too bloated with cc, interrupts and mobility so it's understandable how much it messes up pvp. The game would feel so much better if we reduced all of them factors.
I have never used weak auras and plater profiles and all those thing because I just don't want to go get a PhD in computer science just to set up my game 😅
The issue is that people who speak that there is an issue with rating, are just not in touch with reality. 90 - 95% (depends on expansion and season) did not have even 2.1k cr... these people cry for free rating (like SL S2) to reach goals like 2.4k... but most people don't even want to keep grinding that every season. They just want to do it once (unless it's free again). But even if you gift them the rating every season, like in SL S2.... what then? What's going to happen? THEN they will FINALLY realize that rating is irrelevant because there is literally NOTHING FUN tied to it. All you get is a random title that's turned off by pretty much every single player and some re-skin from PvE set, which is 9/10 always ugly anyway. What's needed is not higher rating or a "mmr fix"... you need actual INCENTIVES so that people WANT to KEEP PLAYING the game... 99% fail to comprehend this simple fact for years and THAT'S WHY WoW can't improve. Just stop denying reality and we can play the game.
Yeah, and its so effing demotivating playing against 2400+ players at 1600 cr, just getting stomped out. It kills arena for me. I end upp getting 2100 ( wpn enchant, duelist title ) Then i quit arena and go do bgs instead, to balance out the tryhardness.
Give us the ability to block a class/spec from joining our solo shuffle like League. I would que a whole lot more if I could block broken specs like DH that just make it not enjoyable most games.
I still think they should make a 2v2 Shuffle DPS only No Tanks, No Heals you obviously wouldn't have 6 Rounds, only 3 but the QUEUE would be INSTANT! Idk think it would be fun to just hop in and still get Conquest and progress for rated rewards for the absolute normie.
one of the biggest problems for me in wow pvp outside of the cheating, scripting, queue times, way too much allowance for people using addons or macros to provide information or preform actions, and all this other crap that has put a competitve game on auto pilot and would be considered cheating in any other competitive game. The lack of multiplayer feeling, 99% of wow content is done without really interacting with other people, even in low level ranked fps games people get on voice chat and work together, this is the same reason why Mobas are boring to play as well for me its a single player experience essentially. FPS games just have more community in the comp space, have more connection between players, and is generally more like going out with your mates to play club sport or what ever irl comp thing you may do. Wow arena, particularly SS feels like playing with bots . the game needs to be more in line with what is acceptable in other genre of comp games otherwise its just hard to feel good putting time in to something that is glorified casual play
If not for solo shuff I wouldn’t play. Normal Bgs are nonstop premades, battleground blitz matches is nonstop blowout one team or the other with mismatched teams which you also have zero agency in, rbgs are nonexistent, I started in 2004 im 37yrs old with a wife and kids multi glad exp but all my irl friends dont play anymore and I dont stay up the hours the kids do to try to grind or even find arena partners. I’d prefer the arenas hands down but it doesn’t work logistically
So here is my problem with the "sub numbers". Yeah, sure, they may be better than Legion, but that doesn't necessarily mean that those numbers translate into retail. Retail feels so dead to me. Even in PvE. The problem is that we have 3 other "game modes" in DF than we did in Legion. We have plunderstorm, we have SoD, & we have classic. So, while the numbers may be 7mil subs, this is realistically only Monthly Active Users (MAU's). So this number is fractured between, retail, sod, classic, and plunderstorm because you need an active wow sub to be able to access ALL of these forms of WoW content. This didn't exist in Legion. So while the numbers show that there are a lot of people playing, that doesn't mean 7 million players are playing retail. I want to see individual numbers for each version of wow. But I know we will never see that again.
I only did arena from tbc to dragonflies season 1 now I just raid in cata needed to many add-ons to play and got punished for playing healer so left pvp.
My idea was substitute CC with skill shot big damage abilities with CC attached. So it feels great to hit the skill shots. Make healing feel really rewarding to play feom a combat perspective.
I think pvp is still fun and they have many reasons to pvp. I think though there is also a few reasons to not even try pvp regardless. And just even 1 reasons to not pvp is not good.
its also a great way to make it completely pointless to bother playing the game. i stopped playing legion because there was literally no point because there was no gearing needed for pvp, so why play?
@@Pympchimpin cosmetic rewards for hitting rating mile markers. Gearing is just a small part of pvp it would also make it much easier to balance. Arena will always suffer by gear. you can't play it if you don't start right away and if you fall behind on gear you just die. With M+ you can do lower level mythics and succeed while you gear up. They need to go back to legion style pvp where gear doesn't matter

the extra conquest only goes so far when the mmr issues still exists.
Awesome vid! Definitely liked hearing your take on this being a prominent figure in the pvp space.
Make healers gain rating on draw, damn make them gain some rating even if it's 4-2.
why dont they just split wow im pve and PVP so they can make a PVP only WoW ?
This!
4:24 Baj I think that this system is good but for pve where it makes sense to close the gap between the next tear. For PvP I do think that ppl should just get their gear relatively easy which will open the doors for more ppl to join in :)
Okay check this out. Solo shuffle is 2v2 dps only but blizz changes the classes in 2v2 to balance healing/survivability.
Been enjoying your react content actually 😂 it’s not my normal cup of tea but it’s been entertaining.
Oh Crap, I've watched 4 videos on your channel and just remembered to SUB. :)
Make a game with fewer buttons ....the situation now is insane..
I know I'm an oldhead who loved OG world PVP, but I still think the move to instanced PvP instead of having open world PVP incentives and events is a massive failure on the wow pvp team's side. Arenas are tired, I'd like to see some more innovation on the PVP outside of Arenas.
Add Rating Mak'gora for DPS. Winners get reduced queue time in solo shuffle. 😇
DPS-only PvP queues.
It's that simple.
I loved the WoD pvp gearing system more than all the recent ones( please note I haven't played DF so I can't count that one). It was simple and to the point
How was WOD PvP gearing system? I quit in WOD and can’t honestly remember.
Played both current is better. TWW will be alot better cuz no RNG to gear up
Doesn't upgrading pvp gear only effect it's base stats while not in pvp? Once in pvp, your stats are maxed to the designated ilvl.
They should just make it to where if you can manage to hit 2k-2400 as a healer you get a wow token. More people will definitely try PvP and try to grow if they can get a free month or hold hands down
Lmfao bellular caught some strays and that was hilarious
Why would i want to push above 2400cr on my healers if i KNOW for a fact that AWC healers are struggling at 2400? There's NO incentive for me to keep playing my healer above 2100... its just not fun, and not rewarding. Btw, just got 2400 on my ret, never played dps before XD
Nice video Baj! Love those reacts.
Ive been saying it from the start healers need better rewards for solo shuffle even give them a recolored glad mount or some shit
i feel like they should re-balance it in such a way where healers arnt just heal bots.
I wish they would disable addons in arena lol
Edit: Okay Pika mentions something similar later in vid lol, nvm.
the crossover we all needed
Right now with the abundance of CC it removes the PvP and skill.
not much skill in just hitting buttons, with no cc where is the skill?
Fuck no
Ffxiv has different skills and allowed abilities for characters in PvP vs pve but it’s like drastic
I just want simple Class roles again. Way less CC/Bloat and for Tanks to be in a great spot in PvP. Especially for BG/RBGs and WPvP which for a lot of players is the PvP that matters. There is nothing better then some Prot PvP.
Where is your top lip?!?!
People complained in BFA that matches were to slow and now they complain the matches are too fast
Tender Post is much better than a regular Battle Pass. You get to chose your rewards.
That's just another high end reward most will never see
Doesn't PvE queues have special rewards for tanks and healers? A box that can give mounts.
word of roots should be the pvp name
Nice react! 🤘 ⚔️
My shuffle que's has been super short at the start of S4, let's see how long it lasts.
Because everyone is within 1000 rating of each other, so it's good :D
I have never used weak auras and plater profiles and all those thing because I just don't want to go get a PhD in computer science just to set up my game 😅
In all aspects of wow there is a lack of healers. Just make 2v2 solo shuffle dps only.
Yeah so the most OP class would never find a game, you are genius. (Not)
it would be cool if they brought back how trinkets worked in Lich king where u could make one shot macros again lol
Remove CC and adjust health and damage to accomidate. Let me play the game
you and pika def gottta play 2s sometime on stream
If you give healers more, they will just finish faster than everyone else and stop playing lol. That's a VERY short term fix
I'm loving this reaction content😂
Wow retail has tons of high pop servers than all classic versions combined.
Bahj milking that react content, and I am here all for it. You have some solid takes.
Another react, awesome
I love your react content!
If wrath had solo shuffle more people would play, also death knights are overtuned. More tuned wrath would be interesting .
a video of baj reacting to pikaboo reacting to asmongold reacting to.....
The state of gaming is pathetic lol
@@Countlesshours Agreed
What if they add things like most disruptive player and things like that to the pvp people might try harder to actually play the event
I think pvp is still fun and they have many reasons to pvp.
I think though there is also a few reasons to not even try pvp regardless. And just even 1 reasons to not pvp is not good.
Templates are the best way to make pvp fair and competitive imo.
its also a great way to make it completely pointless to bother playing the game. i stopped playing legion because there was literally no point because there was no gearing needed for pvp, so why play?
@@Pympchimpin cosmetic rewards for hitting rating mile markers. Gearing is just a small part of pvp it would also make it much easier to balance. Pvp should be about skill level, having gear creates a gateway to entry that’s not necessarily needed.
Currently, Rets best stat is Mastery.. that being said why would I ever go Crit or Haste if Mastery is overall better in a competitive scene.
@@Pympchimpin that also just means pvp sucked in legion. If it was fun you would’ve kept playing regardless of the need for gear right?
@@Pympchimpinwhy play? Idk, to maybe play the game and get better? Does everything have to mirror the MMO and need hours sunk before you can hit baseline gear or not be disadvantaged?
The reason you feel the way you do about gearing is because all you play is warrior.. this is made to make things Alt friendly and it's never been better!
Or make it a battle pass that’s very long and have the end reward be the gladiator mount 😁😆
2.4k exp rdruid i dont play SS cause of the high damp dont care about the mmr dont care about the lack of rewards would much rather sit 45 mins in lfg
check pvp every single applicant then play a single round of lfg 100% should have just been a regular solo queue into the 3v3 ladder
most of the pvp players are different breed, i mean..most of pvp games nowadays are like..log, que, play. And WoW is log, leveling, gearing, doing stuff around, findin your class is dogshit, doing same stuff with another class...pvp design is messy..thats the problem..pvp should be easy to play and no shit around. Just que and play, no gearing and stuff around
Arena will always suffer by gear. you can't play it if you don't start right away and if you fall behind on gear you just die. With M+ you can do lower level mythics and succeed while you gear up. They need to go back to legion style pvp where gear doesn't matter
Give me a stacking currency that gives me prio queue on my other characters
calls dragons breath out as a micro cc and doesn't count shockwave as one even though it has a lower CD
think everyones over thinkning it, unranked and ranked and have 2's with dps only same way
how about instead of "super simplification" we have just "some simplification"? stop exaggerating things to the extreme
not enough healers? no problem. remove them from arena. ban certain abilities like a ban list and then ban dps fest for fast arenas. sounds dope to me
I’d come back and heal SS if they gave me black market boxes
You want me to heal in PVP? Turn off Chat and yes incentivize healers a LOT
