Roundhouse Darjeeling Garratt at The Compton Valence Light Railway

Kris Dutson and his son Sam have created this railway in the last eighteen months and here we see his Roundhouse Garratt in action. It was fitted with a DJB resonator whistle which seems just right for this loco. Kris did the driving, Sam was fireman, looking after gas and water, and I ran around with camera and bean bag - a lot!
