Thanks for the recommendation, my dream car is a Jeep Wagoneer from the late 70s early 80s, chromed out with cobalt blue. No panels of wood. If you know anyone lmk.
Enjoyed the video Ken and the ride to get gas. Cool picture at the pumps with the classic panel truck. Glad the Hoopty wasn't too bad the fix. Take care and God bless.
Looking forward to that horn modification ! Ha ha . Well , that Hooptie job turned out easier than pulling the engine ! Yup , those parts cars can save you a ton , of both time , & money ! Thank you for that drive through the country , & the back forty . That place looks beautiful this time of year . You take care there , Ken ! See you on the flip-side .
That horn's gonna be something when you get it mounted. To make it fit along with the 6 individual pipes on that side of the engine will be the "hard" part. It will be a blast for folks in your town to see (& hear) "The Dirty Dozen" when you're done.👍
I have some great advice for you, just did it exactly the way you want to build it! That's what will happen and you'll be happy with the product! But that horn looks great standing above the frame rail.
Glad to watch one more great video from Unkle Ken before we set off in about 2 hours to France for 6 weeks in our little RV. Ken why do we have to endure the UA-cam music when you play so much nicer stuff?
Another great video episode. Waiting to see the new exhaust be created. The horn looks great there and could probably scare a train off its tracks lol. Thx
It was nice to see that fella stop and see if you were ok Ken 🙂👍 Glad the hoopie issue wasn't as bad as you first thought. Happy wrenching my friend 🔧🔩
Ken the exhaust change is a definite yes!! Run 12 pipes straight up off engine!! And the big horn would look crazy on top of the engine between the air breathers mounted! Would get a lot of attention make it look like part of the motor!! Any who … is all good 👍 on your decision. Love seeing you again you’re a real hoot!! God bless old friend …
Wish my daddy had taught me, but he didn’t. Love learning from the old timers that know life b4 these dang cell phones. Hand in the dirt.❤ Much ❤ from 78 model. Miss the old days
Is the horn brass??? Might be better off with a chemical cleaner for brass. I always find sand blasters to work best for rust and "structural" issues as opposed to surface adhered items...mold lichens, etc. but you know that.
Enjoyed the road trips, brother! Your hilly country is similar to mine. I'm jealous of your blacktop access road, though! Mine is just a worn-out dirt road😅
Looks like a fun little hooptie track to entertain them Grandkids with.cool Horn I don't think anyone would have a problem getting out of the way to begin with but I'm sure that Horn will tell them to. Take care.
It was a nice circuit down through Your property, i was hoping to see the apricots blooming. It would be sad to cover the grill with the fog horn but shined up on display on the right firewall would be quite impressive. Exhaust stacks up to here with rain flappers would be okay i suppose but 12 -1960's Don Garlits Swamp Rat zoomie pipes would draw crowds. 🤔 Sure will be good to learn what You decide to share with us Ken. Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends.
If the grille of the DD wasn't as cool as it is, I'd agree with putting the horn on the nose. But I really like it on the firewall. Dang that brass looks good with the blue-green of the cab and also very nice with the plaid valve cover. Can't wait to see it polished. By the way... I seen you run a red light in the rockabilly earlier!!
Hi Ho Neighbor-- nice ride on the mountain. You've probably mentioned it before-- I'm old and the memory is going away-- how many acres do you have on that mountain?
Amazing how we care more about safety as we age LOL when I was 20 I would have squinted and kept sand blasting! What brand is that sand blast gun???? I need one like that for the small part powder coating I do.
Howdy, Ken!.... You've probably already got it installed... but is there enough room in front of the radiator for that air horn... ???? She's lookin' Good!!

I like the exhaust on the confederate. Can you do the same on the dirty dozen? And I was a train driver. The loco horn was above the cab. You could put yours up there horn up. Alternatively “hide” it behind the grill. Trust be, constipation will not be a problem if you come behind them and lean on that fog horn. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you mount that horn vertically, you'll have to keep it covered for rain. If you could mount it horizontally on the firewall, it will be more visible, fill up that whole space and be less likely to fill up with water, dirt and packrats!
oh m'friend...we get less rain than LA .. think about it.. what are the odds of a bird flying into that horn , no i dont drive on dirt and the vibration plates are not exposed. you are just making up things to worry about haha..anyway thanks for watching

whoa...NOPE I did not see the Iron coming. I tend like to polish my boots, and then mink oil.
I think 6 pipes swooping down and back forming a running board could be an idea. But you got to listen to what your truck is telling you to do.
12 flappers you say? Yes please! A UA-cam first!
ohh a 12 hole with flappers the idle set way down to so you can hear them hitting haha ohh it just gets ya excited
I liked that tune for the hoopty ride-a-long
Headers into a kinda side pipe looking heat shield deal, to the end of the cab, then stacks with the hater flappers.
Thanks again Ken for the excellent entertainment :)

not unless it melts it! haha
The horn mounted to the intake like a third carb. Would look good but I know it would be hard to do looks good there.❤

then nobody would see that beautiful brass.. I assure you no one is going to steal it.. have you MET waylon wire!! lol
