They sound great beside the static

I read someone else complaining of the static with the Movo. They said they reduced the voltage of the phantom power and it cured the issue.

Really informative, thank you. I'm trying to find the "sweet spot" for Lavs (preferably with XLR connectivity) to get the best sound the most inexpensively. Because UA-cam compresses everything to 126 AAC or whatever anyway, there's another point of diminishing returns if setting up for the YT platform... But I can definitely hear the LV8-D problem you showcase, and agree with your conclusion.

I really don't hear any more self noise than any of your other mics. The sony sounds like it has the most self noise.

Also, you can get a different look with some more dynamic lighting. Looks good as it is, but if you wanna try something new, instead of getting a new camera. I actually just put a video up about this yesterday.

Have you ever figure out if it was just your unit?

@@JoeTheViewer Thanks for your quick reply. AT8531 only seems to be the body pack (?) What lav mic are you using with it?

AT803 but it came in a case with the body pack.

Good video man. Shame about the static because aside from that, it sounds pretty good

Thanks. Yeah it did sound good but it was kind of too big though.
