RARE JACKSON APPEARANCE
Reclusive pop superstar Michael Jackson made a rare public appearance in Los Angeles on Thursday night to celebrate the 66th birthday of Rev. Jesse Jackson.
On the arrivals line, Michael Jackson shook hands with party guests, posed for photographers and sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesse Jackson when prompted to do so by a reporter.
Michael Jackson has spent most of his time outside of the United States of late and it has been reported that his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, is in foreclosure.
Jackson has stayed out of the limelight since his 2005 trial and acquittal on child-molestation charges.
He recently broke his silence by consenting to an interview with "Ebony" magazine - the latest issue which boasts Jackson on its cover.
Jackson 49, is said to be releasing a 25th-anniversary edition of his best-selling "Thriller" album, complete with four new tracks - including collaborations with Kanye West, Akon and will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas, though no official release date has been announced.
