It was incredible but this part in particular was so beautiful. She would be very proud.

I don’t know what I was expecting in this speech, but I definitely didn’t think I would nearly be in tears by the end! I thought it was beautiful.

Yes, a much needed olive branch. I don't blame Harry and Meghan for wanting a different life for themselves and their children. I might have kept the dirty laundry to myself, but I'm glad they're happy and living life on their terms.

Drawing a distinction between Elizabeth Windsor the person and Queen Elizabeth II the monarch, I find myself baffled.
Untold millions the world over have been displaced and dispossessed by the Crown. The monarchy itself is an archaic institution, anathema to the very concept of human equality, and by extension, human dignity.
Nevertheless, I've never heard anyone say a negative thing about Elizabeth Windsor the person. Of course she was out of touch with the struggles of the common man. How could she not? But, I am indeed given to understand that she was a fundamentally decent person.
Regardless, I cannot help but find the public display of grief to be a bit childish and maudlin. Tales of kings and queens and princes and the like are the stuff of night time stories. They are out of step with the age in which we live - thank God.

I don’t support the idea of a monarchy in a philosophical level, but this address has the kind of dignity that we Americans have lost in our obsession with Trump. I hope we can come through this turmoil, shed our desire for totalitarianism, and become a more mature and dignified republic than we are now. If we can swallow our pride we might even look to other, more mature democracies in the world as examples of how we can grow. Perhaps there are even elements of Great Britain’s parliament that we could imitate to open up our political system to more than just Republicans and Democrats…..

Queen Elizabeth II will be greatly missed. She was an amazing woman who gave of herself and tried to set forth an example of how someone should rule. Even though she had no real power she always inspired her Prime Ministers to govern as best they could. While not all of them could live up to expectations I imagine they tried to make an honest effort to lead their country. King Charles III seems to want to try to follow in his mother's footsteps. This was legally obtained by Victoria through the Last Treaty of Lahore. The stone has had a long and turbulent history and was passed to many different leaders in several countries. Mainly through favors and war.
There are several countries that claim the stone these include India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran. I am sure if you research the stone and find out who the original owners were, the Crown would seriously consider any evidence you have that A) the stone was stolen and B) Which country the stone should go to.
The crown Jewels consist of Trumpets, plates, sovereign crowns, swords, sceptres, robes, orbs and the oldest is a spoon from the 12 century.
Most of the current collection dates back 350 years. I wait with eager anticipation while you research 400 years of British history , find out who the original owners were of these objects, and bring your evidence to the Crown so they can be returned to their rightful owners.Cheers.

Forget what the past person said. Thank you so much for your sympathy. Our international friends and family are truly making this loss feel isolated. Rather than a friend losing another friend and no one understanding, it truly feels that we have lost a family member. I've always been fascinated with the Queen & all of the Royals of England, despite being an American. I was honestly saddened to hear of her passing. On the slim chance their family reads this, know that my heart & prayers are with you all.
