Great topic. I love learning about Generative Art projects. I'm still a noob and only about 4 months in the space. There are so many popping up everywhere and it's great to learn how to analyze the project as a whole...so far I have simply been buying from projects where I love the concept, community and of course the visual artwork:)
So the main functional part of "generative avatars" or "generative pictures" is putting them out as "profile pictures" on social media and visual artwork? One thing I am noticing is how the names of these generative art projects are contradicting with the vision of the projects. It took you minutes (not months on the development team) to spot issues with the chef and the alien and how diversification in naming could have solved the issues so they belong to the right collections and you nailed it. The trouble is there is a huge focus on projects than on building an enterprise. I buy Larva Labs stuff because it's a company and all their works are produced in series just like normal corps produce and brand different product lines. I am thinking that if Misfits built and enterprise behind Misfit then rolling out multiple themes of products wouldn't be a problem. For now it looks like urgency to exit.
3 1/2 months later.. Yea so, Misfit University completely failed. Its now only one guy who basically does nothing besides giveaways and KO brackets on twitter. Last announcement on discord was 2!!! months ago. It feels like a very slow rug pull.
If you spend all your time trying to appease the cancel crowd you will never succeed. They're the sort of people who complain about the NFTs that they aren't even buying anyway. Everyone else doesn't give a shit. I wouldn't be surprised if these tuct-tape NFTs become worth even more with time.
yea hes one of those annoying people that has a main arguement but tries to make it sound multi sided in a way, to try to escape problems, really hate the dude and ive only watched 1 video.

i think the misfit university idea is badass
What's the issue with people understanding rarity of items ahead of time? Isn't that a good thing, cause early hype? Please explain, thanks

Love the insight
Pio looks like Seth Rollins
Their greedy people that didn't really care about the project if there's no roadmap plan with incentives for the future what's the point
Thumbs up just for saying, "I don't think we should embrace cancel culture."

WhaT 4:28 Is he Abu?
Who talks more about creating generative art instead of critiquing it?

This guy sounds like an elitist. Wishing them goodluck while telling others it will likely go to 0 and you wont be a part of it in any way?

Someone could make a lot of money if they actually DID take time to make every image unique, even if it was only 1,000, even if it was only 500
