2024 Hyundai Stargazer X preview: First drive of the more rugged Stargazer | Top Gear Philippines

- Last year, the Hyundai Stargazer surprised and impressed us when it won our four-way Big Test against Japanese entry-level subcompact seven-seaters. Hyundai then brought in the Stargazer X a few months later, and after a bit of a wait, we finally got to spend some time driving this higher-riding, more rugged-looking version of the model.
At P1,348,000, it’s P60,000 more expensive than the top-spec seven-seat Stargazer GLS Premium. That higher price tag gets you higher ground clearance, sportier styling, and an updated interior, particularly the dashboard. Click play on the video above for our first impressions, and let us know in the comments what you think of Hyundai’s latest people-hauler.

Here's my take I would rather choose passengers and drivers comments rather than people looking at it from the outside.
Ayos to value for money talaga, ayos na yung dashboard, van looking lang talaga not a fan. Pero hands down value for money to guys!
Yes traditional van design kaya mas maluwag sa loob
no headrest in middle seat of 2nd row
the only thing that is holding us back on getting this car is the looks, majority talaga sa family namin including my friends dont like the looks of the headlight. For it's the best mpv on its segment however the the headlights just look a little bit awkward. This is subjective naman hehe
Yan mahirap sa sg.. either u like design or u dont, no in between.. actually the xpander cross 2tone napaka ganda talaga tgnan. pero depende din talaga but my decision point to sgx is that ill be driving fr the inside and not fr the outside hence the tech and space was more impt to me. and xp is due for an upgrade din.
Subjective nga. Kc mdami s friends ko gusto naman ang headlight😊
Wife wanted the veloz because of the looks too. Sad to say when we took the veloz off for a test drive pinapara kami ng mga tao. Didn't experience it on the sg. While its true na aquired taste ang looks ng hyundai. I kinda dont mind because we're inside it most of the time naman.
@@lilpointless7438 exactly.. ganyan din argument ko. If i want to impress people for looks edi ill just go for a sportscar..
@@valenzuelaeph yeah get a sports car with 7 seats under 1.3million. Goodluck with that. The point here is why settle for a good car that doesn’t look appealing when you can get a good performing and good looking car at the same time.
makakas sa gas?
The car you want and the car you can't have 😂
Gawa po ba yan sa korea???
Yes
@@cptmrgn4184Indonesia po ginawa ang Stargazer
@graceporte4383 Gawang Indonesia ito
which color is prettier? 😊
White
I feel so damn torn sa kotseng toh. Maganda sana interior pero yung exterior talaga ang weird. Mukhang apple magic mouse
..if you look at the rear a few meters away you will notice it resembles the face of Deadpool🙄✌✌✌
Yung stargazer ko nasa casa since january 15. Waiting padin daw ng parts to repair. Until now wala estimated date. Ganun nalang ba yun? 😢
whats the damage po
New car model problems. All brands suffer from that.
@@arcaine101 How long or months should we expect part to arrive for a brand new car?
The driving experience is very much okay, but the unit I got has a faulty airbag.
Imagine if I were a vlogger then suddenly the airbag indicator keeps showing up while on the drive.
Sir stargazer X din po yung sainyo?
Parang di happy yung mga nasa second row :(
Pros:
easy drive
Ok fuel consumption (8.5 to 11km/l city driving...16 to 20k /l in the highway)
Lots of leg space
Lots of cubby hol3s
Cons:
Sometimes, runs 6.5km/l in super traffic conditions
3rd row gives out hinge noises.
Compressor makes annoying adjusting sounds.
Rear view screen gets stuck on the screen.
Water gets stuck and pools inside the front position lights (the "robocop" headlights) after carwash or rain (and you cant get it out unless you disassemble the lights).
Why most top gears staff are chubby? Hold off that pizza and pares.
