If you are getting the fading effect then it means the link has broken between your two pages and the match and move transition. Be careful not to change the element at all for the match & move effect to work

I am using web version and unfortunately the match and move works more like a fading effect. :(

Do you need Canva Pro or can you do this on the free version?
You can use the animation tools in the free version of Canva but the pro version lets you adjust the timings of the transition effects.
