I am a spanish follower of your channel. On may the 24th this year I began my camino in Avilés and my first stage was exactly the same as yours of today. I sat for a drink and a sandwich in the same bar in Muros de Nalon (what are the odds, ja,ja!). I walked (and run in certain moments) for 8 days and I arrived to Santiago may the 31st. 322 km in total. I enjoyed it very, very much. I like your videos a lot. Congrats! It's a little bit like living the camino again. I find a lot of parallelism between you and me (middle age man doing the camino on my own, around 40 km per day, enjoying a nice cold beer every so often, etc.). Buen Camino, Kjartan!
@joseignaciojalon3998 8 days from Aviléz will also be the same for me... one more week from today.. Happy you enjoy the video's (and the beer😉😂) Buen Camino 😊
@@thewalkingveteran after your hard days walk/work ☺️☺️ wine is like the best medecine 😀. I imagine I'll be having many soon enough. Cheers 🥂. I'm looking forward to your day 15 video. Buen Camino 🎶🤠
My wife & I did the Camino Frances in May. It’s interesting watching your travels too and seeing some of your experiences. I found that after about 25kms walking was about the distance where I’d had enough. We also recorded our travels and have watched back on our hike and realise that we’ve already started forgetting certain things about our Camino travel. So good to make videos to look back on memories too. I think it’s so good to make holiday videos because we forget them or parts of them so easily. Best of luck mate. Keep those videos coming. Dennis 😃👍
@@thewalkingveteran Yes. There’s a few others that have posted UA-cam vids of their Camino hikes. I try to watch most of them as it’s interesting seeing how and where others went. Buen Camino 😃
Goed bezig 😊
