William Boyd was unique A great actor . I love all his films . Thank ypu so much for sharing ..
I keep watching Hopalong Cassidy movies over and over, surprisingly I feel like I'm watching it for the first-time, I've never felt bored or tired.. it's so sad the the world of movies cannot come with something close to these movies, as far as morality, or clean and respectful scripts that teach us and our nowadays kids how to talk politely with each other and with the parents....RIP to the souls of all those actors in this great movie....
Well said honey…well said!!! I can’t stop watching!!!!
Love all these Cassidy movies the great wish they still made movies like this today
I love to watch these good, clean movies that take me back to an America that I could recognize as America.
Awesome another Hopalong movie I haven't seen before.
🙃☕❤❤❤❤
My 2nd Hoppy movie, first was the original 1935. Intend to watch them all.
Great Great western. I love this time era.
Years. Ago In The 1950's--- Through The 1970's Growing Up In Mia,,Fl, my Family was the First to Have A Tv In The Neighborhood, And Me and The Neighborhood Kid Watched Hoopalong Cassidy Own Our TV Set 7 Days A Week. This An Iconic Experience, R.I.P. William Boyd !
I used to watch these at the theater and seeing them again brings back memories. My six year old grandson and I binged watched these till two in the morning. Of course he was asleep in my arms but I kept on watching. Thank you! Thank you!
My wife and I have been looking at a hopylong movie every night for the past few weeks! I remember them from my childhood days, but she is seeing them for the first time and really enjoying them and so am I all over again! She really gets a kick in the antics of California (Andy Clyde)!
I agree w/your wife. Andy Clyde a great character actor. Then to hear William Boyd’s laughter is worth it all
@@suev3339 well said suev3339
Hopalong ,my favorite
Thanks. Gives faith in goodness.
Just to add my appreciation for these Hoppy movies at 80 years also. Anyone who is nitpicking over the small flaws here must have very high standards for himself. These are great moral tales of a hero who is loved by his best friends, and who is real. Great writing, directing and production!
Agree with you 💯👍👌👏
Boyed, John Wayne and others are the pioneer of the American Western movies ... RIP my heroes 🙏
Thank you for this great movie did enjoy watching it ❤❤👍👍
Love love Hopalong Cassidy movies everyone never miss any one just a wonderful actor ❤
Wonderful entertainment! Wholesome spirit to every movie. I feel that in every movie I’m touching the 1800s when the west was the west.
Great viewing Gabby Hayes never fails to crack me up.
My goodness, I enjoy these movies. It was a different world back then and relate to them so much. I guess I'm an old dinosaur. lol

right with you pal,as the saying goes "they don`t make them like that anymore" Happy trails to ya.......pj
You and me both love them all day long
🥰
🎑🔹 I turn the volume down and listen to Hoppy to help me sleep.
Amazing. 80 years' old and still being discovered and enjoyed. So gentle and innocent but, a pleasant way to pass an hour. Used to watch Hopalong Cassidy at the Saturday morning "flicks" as a wee lad. Have always retained an interest in these old black and white films and however corny, always seem to enjoy them. Excellent quality. Thank you so much.
I'm 75 and also enjoyed this Hoppy movie. I remember wearing my Hopalong Cassidy sweater (moths ate it) and listening to my Hopalong Cassidy 78rpm record. Times have really changed. In today's world the kids are watching porn instead of cowboys.
@@cedricforbes7482 thanks for that Cedric. Kind regards.
so much better than the junk hollywood has been putting out for the last 40 years or longer
@@peterjohnson617 Thanks Peter. Gene Autry and Roy Rogers were also great favourites of mine. Am still watching and enjoying so much these hour or so westerns. Regards.
😎
I really like these shows.....

Hello Joan, How are you doing?
Russell Harlan, here in his first film as a cinematographer, went on to a career spanning nearly 30 years. He was nominated six times for an Academy Award for his brilliant work behind the camera including for To Kill A Mockingbird in 1962.
did great work on RED RIVER 1948.

Another Amateur iiiiiii
Russell Hayden got his first name in honor of Russell Harlan..
Thank you very much for uploading this. I love these old ones.
How I wish would still make movies like this these good old actors I miss him all
Hopalong Cassidy is my new favorite cowboy. I never heard of him until recently searching for classic westerns . Why is he not more known? There's more action and better storylines in hopalongs movies than any western created.
Howard Cassidy a Heisman trophy winner at Ohio State in the 1950s was nicknamed after Hopalong because Hopy was a national hero in those days.
Nick Capella - ONE OF MAJOR REASONS WY SO FEW UNDER AGE 50 TODAY ARE ALL THAT FAMILIAR WITH OR EVEN KNOW NAME ' HOPALONG CASSIDY ' IS DUE TO SO FEW OPPORTUNITIES TO SEE THESE OLDER FILMS / TV PROGRAMS WHICH LEFT TV BEFORE 1980s, FOR THE MOST PART, AND ONLY REDISCOVERED AGAIN THROUGH DVD SALES AND THINGS LIKE UA-cam - THERE ARE MANY BETTER WESTERNS TO BE FOUND ON UA-cam SO ENTER ANY NAME AND SEE WHAT YOU FIND.
Super !🎉
Enjoyable.
Windy built a regular stone cottage.

@1:03:08 Half dead man with a sidearm ya right even Hoppi couldn't make that shot .
that's one way to get rid of a presumptuous kid
Water and liquor= grandparents cure all..
Is anyone else getting the idea.......ah, that a lot of our older politicians in the USA sort of act like the villains from these old Hopalong movies? I wish they, as children, could have been able to hop in a horse and ride if into the sunset when they were youngsters. It might have calmed them down some. To bad.
Hey they shot him in the horse
the flaw in the movie....8 days riding pushing the herd, no chuck wagon and no food.....hmmmmm
@Ann Pommer LOL
@Ann Pommer Ann, I am 74 and grew up with the Hoppy phenomena. I find those movies an escape from the crap of today and puts me back in front of my little TV we had when I was a youngster. I still have some of his memorabilia from those days. I want to go to Alabama hills and ride on a horse on those trails and climb up on the rocks where the shootouts were. I love that stuff. Thanks so much for the replies.
@Ann Pommer Ellison, Hayes and Boyd, an unbeatable combo
@Ann Pommer Ann, watch this one, its really good...........ua-cam.com/video/tGdjB_n2JgU/v-deo.html
@Ann Pommer you should get on MEWE and we can be friends there
Goodstuf
"Black Butts"? Yay, bring 'em on! Oh, wait . . . "Black Buttes." Well, that's different, isn't it? Never mind.
Supposin one episode were about swineherds instead of cattlemen, and Lucky were to make a king of the boss. Then Lucky would be a kingin sowboy.
Hoppy, I’m ashamed of you. If you had to be in love with a woman, why couldn’t it have been a sweet woman who always never doubted you, in spite of the circumstances that looked like you were being deceitful. And I hope she never finds out about her brother. Yuck 🤢🙄😝👎
the only thology they know, is horney thology

I love these movies except the singn and the young guys hoppy hangs out with it irritates me the way they eye ball a woman and try to force themselves basically on the female charactor like perverts ciuld have left all that out on thesebtypes of movies. Other than that there great movies.
