Voting Rights

The Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities, in partnership with the Fulton County Office of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases, created this video in 2005 to promote discussion around the importance of voting for people with disabilities. Voting Rights highlights the history of voting in the US and includes first-person perspectives from two people with disabilities who exercise their right to vote. Discussion questions at the end give groups an opportunity to reflect on the issues raises.
