I am a Taemin girl through and through but man I need to recommend you Ten because you've already checked Baekhyun and have mentioned checking Kai. Please note Ten is not YET officially debuted though he is certainly one of the members of NCT with most solo stuff. I really hope they don't delay it any longer because he deserves.
(Taeyong and Mark also have solo work out which I also recommend but I feel like we are giving you too much too soon lol)

"Tiger Inside" was a pre-release track from SuperM's first full length album Super One released in 2020. This year will be SuperM's 4th anniversary, and SM has promised they will be having a comeback this year once Baekhyun and Taemin are discharged from the military.
Using the still image at the end of the "Tiger Inside" MV, as you may know, from left:
> Lucas is a rapper and visual of WayV/NCT-U, he is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong;
> Ten is the main dancer and a lead vocalist from WayV/NCT-U, he is Thai;
> Baekhyun is a main vocalist of EXO and the leader of SuperM, he is Korean;
> Taemin is the main dancer and a lead/main vocalist from the legendary group SHINee, as well as one of the most popular solo artists, he is Korean and he has been in the industry for more than 14 years (Taemin and Kai are considered the top two BEST dancers in the entire industry);
> Taeyong is a main rapper, main dancer and the leader of NCT (he is part of NCT-127/NCT-U), he is Korean;
> Kai is the main dancer, a lead vocalist, sub-rapper and center of EXO, he is Korean;
> Mark is a main rapper and main dancer of NCT (NCT-127, NCT-U and NCT-Dream), he is Korean-Canadian.
I think that the "Tiger Inside" MV may be connected to EXO's "Wolf" MV. In "Wolf" we see that EXO are a wolf pack that is dressed in all white and they are inside an all white den or cave, just like the SuperM members who are dressed in all white and are in a white cave in "Tiger Inside." And in "Wolf" the choreography was designed to make the EXO members look like they are wolves or beasts, where in "Tiger Inside" the choreography was also designed to make them look like beasts or tigers.
Fun fact: That breakout dance move with Taeyong and Mark in the choreography, doesn't just go along with the beat, but it's supposed to be Taeyong trying to assert his dominance and battle with Mark. Taeyong elbows Mark in the head, which causes him to stumble, then Taeyong pushes him away with his hand (i.e. paw), which causes Mark to spin around to face Taeyong and then Taeyong raises his claws above his head and strikes out at Mark to cause Mark to step away, etc. I think they are supposed to look like tigers preparing for battle with the Red Force, so they are practicing their fighting skills.
So, this is just another reason why I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third generation groups' MVs and storylines -- and probably even now their 4th gen groups with the introduction of aespa -- are being designed to connect stories and plots.
Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connections between the groups. And that includes SuperM, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, aespa, and maybe even Taemin's solo work, and possibly even SHINee. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen.
And, as I may have mentioned before, although most of SM's older groups' concepts and MVs may have never been originally designed to have any type of connection to anything to do with anything, that doesn't necessarily mean that over the years as EXO's story has evolved or SM's Universe concept was being created, that SM didn't find "happy coincidences" within those MVs that allowed them to use them as a way to connect things together. For example, some have pointed to the fact that Ningning's butterfly in aespa's concept from 2020 could be connected to the butterfly in EXO's debut "Mama" MV from 2012, as well as the butterfly in NCT-127's "Favorite (Vampire)" MV from 2021, and some have made compelling arguments that it could even be connected to SHINee's butterfly in their "Ring Ding Dong" MV from 2009. Or the blue roses we see in Taemin's "Press Your Number" MV from 2016 may be connected to EXO's flower/blue rose concept, etc. Now I'm not completely convinced that SM would reach back that far, but it makes you question and consider things. :D I mean we see what looks like the pink planet from Super Junior's "House Party" MV and a scene from Super Junior-K.R.Y.'s "When We Were Us" MV from 2020 in "aespa's ep.1 - SM Culture Universe" video. And SM has even brought Kangta, who is a member of the very first Kpop boy group H.O.T., which debuted in 1996, into the storyline with his solo MV remake of H.O.T's song "Free to Fly." And Max Changmin from TVXQ joins the world of Kwangya in his solo "Devil" MV when we see him on the pink planet, etc. So it's starting to look like SM may be hinting at bringing everyone into the storyline, including their older groups and artists.
However, no one really knows what is happening for sure in SM's Universe storyline. It's all fan theories and educated guesses. SM has never confirmed nor denied any of our theories and they have never explained anything. They have left it up to the fans to interpret the story and connect the pieces. And what makes this even more difficult is the story isn't being told in chronological order, so as fans you have to pay attention to everything and remember what you have seen and heard in previous content in order to decide where each piece fits within the larger storyline. And, as you have seen, it's not just MVs, but it's with everything they do including teaser videos, concert VCRs (short videos played at concerts in between sets), live performances, song lyrics, online content released by SM, special extras included when you purchase an album, etc. It's super complex and all encompassing.
@Ofra Cohen Blue roses/flowers are very significant within SHINee's and Taemin's storyline. How I interpret the blue rose is, it's supposed to signal the moment where things are not real -- these are moments where Taemin's character is battling with his mind to try and keep a grip on reality. The more roses, the further from reality he is, etc. Also, Blue flowers, when equated with a message, usually stand for love and inspiration, and when presenting someone with blue flowers you are telling them you will stay loyal and passionate about them. Plus, pearl aqua blue/green, is SHINee's fan color so there are always blue images and blue colors in their MVs. Blue has a lot of important messages when it comes to SHINee.
And although Taemin may have never intended anything to connect to SM's Culture Universe storyline, this doesn't necessarily mean SM has allowed him to avoid connections. As evidenced with Key's "Gasoline" MV, when it was first released Key made similar statements about the fact that his storyline was not connected to Kwangya, however, soon after that SM edited his statements and removed any mention of whether it was connected or not. Therefore, it seems as though SM may still want to use pieces of the storyline.
But in the end, no one really knows, we will just have to wait to see how it all plays out if SM ever reveals the meaning behind it all. It's just something to think about and consider.

You have to watch Bambi-Baekhyun. Four of the members are from the group NCT, but two of the four are from NCT 127. You should definitely watch NCT 127 Killing voice so you can get a feel of some of their music. Also you should watch MMMh-Kai and Peaches-Kai. Here is a good starter pack for NCT to add to your ever growing list. I recommend maybe doing a mini marathon of the four units, to save yourself some time perhaps;

(Each of these songs is a good representation of each fixed member units general "flavor"... except for NCT U as it is a non-fixed unit, meaning the members vary on a per song basis... so there is no consistent sound for it other than a general NCT vibe that's harder to define... so I just chose one of many fan favorites.)
Easy way to put it is That Members in NCT U can Change anytime or Every song because They would choose any NCT members from the 23 total members To join a comeback of they fit that SONG concept more 🔥💚💚

I love how you just have to stop and process what you've just seen... because same, honestly. I find myself watching the MVs multiple times - the first as a general run through, not trying to pay attention to lyrics but just appreciating the video & music. Then I watch with the lyrics, followed by multiple times focusing on each member individually. I have to watch the dance practices just as many times because Taemin draws my attention fully the first watch. Unfortunately, I also tend to have to rewind and/or rewatch reaction videos because, while I OBVIOUSLY want to see the reaction, I still find my attention pulled to the video, no matter how many dozens of times I've seen them. LOL.

Thank you for checking out SuperM. I don't mean to sound rude, but I hope you didn't really mean to reduce Kai to only being Taemin's bff. Kai's one of the most influential people in the industry: he's Center and Main Dancer of EXO for a big reason, he's been chosen the best dancer for many years straight, a lot of idols name him their role model, he's on the list of the most influential people in fashion globally next to Lady Gaga and Zendaya, he's the first Korean to become Gucci's global ambassador and to have his own collection with them, he's SMEnt's most viewed and listened to soloist who alone can sell out a venue, just to name a few of his achievements. EXO in general are cutting edge in many respects, their discography is top tier - timeless, highest quality and no skips even when it comes to b-sides, they even have winter albums (not X-mas) and a perfect wedding song, EXO broke several records starting with their first album and are in the Guinness book on several occasions, they're the most respected and loved group in Asia. All EXO members are extremely talented and have multiple talents which they show through their solo activities. All 9 members are legit kings and what they do influences the whole industry be that mv production, sound, fashion and imagery, name anything.

Baekhyun has actually a very strong and loud personality (I love him, my industry bias wrecker), Kai is the sweet one. Taeyong and Mark are part of the best rappers in kpop currently (I reckon they would be "better" if sm gives them more freedom in their music). And sadly, Ten and Lucas, the Wayv members, don't have a lot of lines or killing points in superm, but Wayv are personal ults.

Your logical or illogical progression, since you are familiar with SHINee, is EXO and NCT // EXO has so many great hits (Monster, Obsession, KoKobop, Call Me baby, Growl, Love Shot, etc.) NCT has 3 regular units with NCT Dream, NCT 127 and WAYV and a unit that is interchangeable with members called NCT U. All the NCT units have a huge discography of great songs, check the number of views and see. ENJOY.
