While his footwork is definitely one of the best, if not the best, his forhand attack is 'just' very good.
Fan zhendong has more power and ma long more precision and higher consistency in that regard. Nevertheless ryu is a superb master, still.

@@esmolol4091Fan Zhedong doesn't use pivot attack much and his footwork is rather sloppy compared to RSM.He is quite explosive thought.

Yeah thanks for all the advise. But i heard Korea has given up on the penhold system. Only China is now doing its darn best to keep it up. The remaining penholders like Yoshida, He Zhiwen, Jesus Cantero and Kazuo Katsumoto are getting old without young ones in sight.
