Vampires can turn themselves in bats, owls, or rats.
Find out about the first vampire ever, in this video.
Vampires. The word itself reminds us of movies like Dracula. They are immortal and said to survive mostly on human blood. They have fangs and usually bite the necks of humans and suck blood from it. They usually sleep during the day as they cannot tolerate sunlight. So, you can't see them during the day. It is said that vampires are able to control the animal kingdom and can easily turn into bats, owls and rats. The first vampire is believed to be a human named Ambrosia who was an adventurer born in Italy. Fate brought Ambrosia to Delphi in Greece. It is said that curses and blessings changed the man to the first vampire. They say Ambrosia was cursed by the Sun God, causing his skin to burn if sunlight touched it. He got a similar curse from the Moon Goddess, but in this case he could not touch silver. The only blessing he got was of being immortal and tremendous strength and speed. Tales show that they can be destroyed with a wooden stake through the heart. Garlic, holy water, silver and crosses are other religious objects used to kill vampires. A person can turn in a vampire by being bitten by one. He or she also need to drink the vampire's blood. Vampires only enter your home when invited. A group of them is called a clutch, pack, clan or brood.
