Industrial machines only do one stitch. A certain machine is dedicated to do one job. Zig zag industrial machines are available but it's rare that they're used in clothing factories. Zig zag is useless anyway, there's no need for it apart from making buttonholes on a domestic machine. Buttonhole machines are usually used though you can buy a dedicated attachment for industrial straight stitch machines to create buttonholes.
