I agree the i8 is loads more special than the M6. Yes the M car will be faster & more exciting, but the i8 has an almost concept-car like presence on the streets. Placed beside other non-Italian supercars like the Audi R8 & Mercedes AMG-GT and it certainly stands out the most (as I can attest to at a local exotic car show I attended recently).

An electric tesla model s does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds without burning an ounce of rubber or fuel, maybe being a hybrid has nothing to do with his choice, its faster then many fully gas cars, plus the i8 represents innovation and a glimpse of future cars . it is ahead of its time .
