I haven't been to church in years.I haven't prayed to god in over a year.And today something hit me!I felt like I needed to stop everything and get on my knees and cry and cry and just pray.God Told me tonight that he never left my side!He followed me wherever I went...He truly Lives in me and now tonight I Was changed!Im going to start going to church again and praise his name! For god is good and he never have up on me even when I thought that I was all alone.
Awesome!! God set me straight too. I would listen to Nirvana, mostly only cut out the lyrics, but that was my idol in high school. And all those pics of him on UA-cam, I was like, thats too much Kurt Cobain for me. I was feeling down. I felt that was hindering from God!! I still felt Gods spirit though. Well, it was like my ex. I put him before God. I had trouble even bowing down to pray. I think it was Abide conference, I could finally bow down at the altar. 😇😌 (relaxing emoji). Anyway, I really needed a good video, and worship, a song from my playlist played, and it was, Mighty Rivers, by Jason Upton, and the video had waterfalls! 😌😍😇
So often I return to this particular song and it never fails to move me into worship and adoration. I am usually rendered to tears as I cry out "You alone are worthy". The faces of even the youngest children in this video reflect their hearts desire to praise the Lord Jesus and I see them coming to the throne unashamed and unafraid. I feel God's pleasure joining in with them and my spirit is deeply stirred.
To me, just listening to this song isn't enough. To witness all the people worshiping God touches me.
I have never felt the Power of God come through an online video like this before! In addition to the vocals, The drums, electric guitar, piano, we're all worshipping with their instruments! Wow our Creator,Jesus, was pleased!!!! SO WAS I!!!

I have loved this song, but to see the video and all the children praising Jesus really got to me. Praise Jesus my Lord and Savior for being strong for me when I thought I couldn't. for being my great provider and my healer. This is one of the greatest Christian songs ever. We sang it at Church this past Sunday I felt the presence of the Lord in that sanctuary. SO many people shouting for joy with their hands raised high Praising God, it was such an awesome experience that I would love to see happen again, which is can happen again, great time, Praise God!!

this song changed me. during worship and praise as our worship team was leading our church the Holy Spirit moved right into me around me and through me as i was moved to tears of joy. my friend who was sitting next to me asked me at the same time if i felt Him moving through the church. I viewed this performance of this song over two years ago before I accepted Christ. It was so filled with Holy Spirit; it moved my heart to finally accept Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I'm a teenager who was raised in a christian family. I remember when i use to love going to church, & going in the whole worship. I remember feeling God's presence in the room we would sing in. The great things Jesus has done for all of us. I wish i never did apart myself from the Lord. I come back to this song all the time when i'm alone at home. Cause i know the Lord is good all the time. Pray for my generation. We're stuck on the lights of the world. & i put myself as a first example...

I have heard all the different versions of this song including the ones done by Kari herself and this one by far is the best! The dinamic in it is so powerful! It has never been matched in any of the other versions IMO.
Jesus lives in my heart, mind and soul, he has since I was small child but sometimes we take him and his grace for granted and forget to praise him. I remember when I hear this song and know that his spirit is all that I can forever inspire to. I love Jesus

Kari's heart is that God would receive all glory. It was her place that night, along with the team, to faciliate and lead worship. We clap, sing, play, dance etc, all in efforts towards expressing worship. We also use lighting, video and sound to bring God the best we can offer. We use these things to faciliate a God-worship experience. We are not perfect, but we attempt to bring our best to glorify God.

Nine years we lost our 32 year old son, Kevin Mills, in a motorcycle accident. Kevin had played bass with the Newsboys and recorded the Going Public CD with them. You never get over the death of a child but God gets you through it, day by day. This song is a great reminder of what a great and wonderful God we serve.

our Teen Camp 2010 sang this song, everyone rose willingly and raised their voices up to God...as I sang, I heard angels sing along with us! Only God can make something like this happen!

My great aunt passed away a couple weeks ago. This was played at her funeral. Everyone was standing up raising their hands and singing. This song is so powerful. Every time I listen to it I get goosebumps and cry. Such a good song.
