Ever since the Jordan Love injury, the Green Bay Packers & head coach Matt LaFleur have surprisingly dominated their two NFL games, especially this week vs the Tennessee Titans. The Packers offense continues to outsmart their opponents through unique run design between both Josh Jacobs & Emmanuel Wilson, while also finding holes in defenses for Malik Willis to exploit with targets in Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, Tucker Kraft, Luke Musgrave, etc.
And with Jordan Love’s return likely vs the Minnesota Vikings this week, the Packers defense with new DC Jeff Hafley, coupled with the offense looking stronger than ever might just result in the most dominant two-way team in football for weeks to come, if what we’ve seen continues.

They play two games against minnesota, so even if the pack loses their two games against them and nothing else we would be 14-3. tell me how that is minnesota saying something about it...I dont think we are gonna go 14-3, but you act like the V-queens are gonna make a BIG difference in greenbays season, which they wont, even if they lose both games.

This year should hopefully be the nail in the coffin for Joe Barry’s legacy(horrible) as a defensive coordinator. Crazy seeing the difference in the team without him

I love that he has done so well, I am so pleased for him, but, its Darnold. Big game. won't be upset if the Pack lose, either way it will be close. Manner of playing IS important more to the point FINISHING the game and lowering the pen count
As a Packers fan im so happy we traded for Malik. He is such a great guy, and i hope when the season is done we can get him an opportunity to be a starter somewhere.

The offensive they running is the t offensive right now. It’s hard to defend. It’s a lot of play options misdirection runs motions. You can’t run what the packers are running now with have te and wr that can block real good. That’s why you don’t see these type of offensive also your qb have to at least run at min 4.5 it’s only one type of defense that can defend these and that’s a 4-3 middle gap blitz. What the film each play the middle is open. These offenses runs side line to side line. With vertical routes very little cross routes

I think they will, the whole team seems young and hungry, coaches are saying great work ethics during practices, if they beat the Vikings, they'll be on top of the division, unthinkable when Love went out.
@@TheFootballDigestI think without injuries crippling the defense they'll only improve. First year with a new coach, in a new scheme and they're already playing well. Time is only going to get them more accustomed to the scheme, what the coach expects, and the nuisances of the defense.
Cannot wait to see how that game turns out

I remember when people were complaining that Rodgers leveraged the Front Office into bringing back Clements
MLF is a great offensive mind, but you have revealed the "big secret" 100 percent spot on.
I love Clements and he has done wonders coaching QB’s. But he’s not calling the game. The play calling and design is putting the QB’s in a position to succeed.
@masonlucas if it weren't for Tom, the outcome would've been much different, IMO. Lafleur is a good play caller, but that gets in the way of being the HC, which is why players new and old continue to make huge mistakes that could, and do affect the outcome of games. Personally, I'd rather see him either be the OC or HC, not both. Doing both hurts the team and the so-called "actual" OC, who is nothing more than a motivational coach. Just take a look at the last OC who was given credit for being such a great OC and was hired to be a HC.....for half a season.
so weird as a packer fan that this little stretch has actually been really fun. i thought the world was ending at the end of the eagles game lol ready for love to come back but it certainly has been a fun ride with malik!!!

As a packer fan I actually am having the thought of why have a set starting QB if we have 2 QB’s who are interchangeably good. We could basically switch our offenses so drastically that there is no defensive scheme that a team could have for us.
It’s honestly crazy how fast this offense seamlessly adjusted to this new scheme under Malik Willis, nonetheless how quickly Malik himself got ramped up to speed overall with being here not that long at all
I was thinking about this - going forward, could the Packers use Malik Willis in a manner similar to a Taysom Hill?

The defense is playing at a pretty high level already. One can assume that it will get better as the season goes on barring injuries. Its the first year in switching scheme theyre only going to get more comfortable and settled into the nuisances of it. With the addition to love coming back that packers team is going to be one of the top teams to beat. Their GM should be getting some sort of award for how he rebuilt that team in 2 years after losing a hof qb, all but 2 wrs, all tes, multiple defensive players and feilding the worst safety duo in the nfl. Absolutely insane what he did when you compare it to teams that have taken decades to overcome less.

I would love to see the packers swap these stellar QBs in between drives to shake up the opposing defence. They would constantly have to adjust and it could keep them on the back foot the whole game.

The match between GB and MN will be very exciting. As a Viking's fan with plenty of family members that are GB fans... this is our favorite time of football. We always throw a family BBQ. Looking forward to a great game, a MN win and NO EFFING SEASON ENDING INJURIES.

She's got a shirt that says cooking a future Vikings fan. And I got my boy an old school Moss jersey to weak with my original signed Moss one. I just hope it's a great game and that Love is back... and nobody gets hurt. GB looks great this year and Minnesota looks amazing despite all the media jabronees saying we'd suck and finish last. Idk who's been teaching the Packers offense blocking this off-season but it's beautiful to watch. It's week 3 and they look like a WELL oiled machine already.
With Love not at 100% there needs to be an RPO package for Malik for certain situations.
So after the first game, I would have gave him a 2 year contract. Then after the second game... I would start actually making a package for him. So when love comes back, full healthy, I would think about continuing the pistol.. with jaydeen reed, Christian Watson, Malik Willis aaand Jordan love on the field... they could do anything they wanted. That is a lot of speed, then brink jacobd to blow it up with power. Have tucker craft blocking out there.. the pack has never really had a running qb.
This offense is plain and simply just fun to watch. When you run the ball it opens everything up. Heads up to MLF and the players on this fun scheme and special shout out to the blocking of the wide receivers.

It's not that simple with this offense. Which run would they stop? Option runs, end arounds, inside runs, QB scrambles? They are capable of doing them all very well. And if the other team tries to stop them all the pass game opens up. With the way these receivers can all block well, carry the ball well and know how to find open space it's a very difficult thing to stop. They're also all very good at just being receivers. It's a pick your poison situation as long as the offensive line does their job and the QB isn't getting confused by disguised defenses.
