@@ALifeMoreBoaty hi again. Insurance… you mentioned Visicover so I just got a quote as my insurance expires this month, and they’ve come up 40%+ less than the cheapest alternative out there. My renewal with N&G is c£600 but Visicover have quoted £356 (I only have one year NCD as ours is a revisit to boating after a 40 year ‘rest’). The difference almost appears to suggest it’s “too cheap” but I’ve checked every single comparison and can find no flaws. Thoughts, comments?
@Garry Robson I used them for a few years. However, I have never made a claim. They are underwritten by Allianz if I remember rightly and covered by the FCA and FCS, and as I work in insurance, that should be OK. I think the saving comes from the selectedable cover levels, so you're not paying for cover you don't want or need. That's about all I can say. Good luck.
@@ALifeMoreBoaty thank you. I agree re: cover for what you need. Eg: we’ve no plans to go further west than say, Weymouth and east no further than Lymington. No cross channel, etc. I reckon that is a major factor.
Love Parkers. I believe, from the look of your videos, that we are ‘behind’ you at Cobb’s (Parker 850).
Hi, yes I know your boat, I've seen you come and go many times. Envious that you don't have to wait for the bidges!
@@ALifeMoreBoaty Haha, we do this time of year with the covers up. Weather is looking good for the next few days, esp Tuesday! 👍
