Oh, the escalation occured four nights ago. A very strong response is needed to show that will never be acceptable. Iran only understands one thing...strength. They pounce on preceived weakness.
Israel has been regularly attacked by Iran and its proxies for decades. The Shiites(?) simply will not abide having Israel as a Nation. But Israel has never been directly attacked like this since 1967. They have to respond. Especially after 10/7. People may not like to hear this, but the Creator of our Universe/Reality - God, gave that land as recorded in the Bible, the Promised Land, to Israel millenia ago. They got kicked out a few times for misbehavior, but they always returned to their Home. Took Hitler to finally return them there for the last time. So don’t anybody whine about what they do to defend themselves, but the indiscriminate bombing and killing of innocents in Gaza is not “defending Israel”. It’s the misguided destruction of Gaza intended to make Palestinians leave or spend International aid rebuilding instead of rearming Hamas when this is over.

The US , NATO , China and the Islamic world have made good progress when it comes to increasing pressure on Israel and delivering much need aid to the people who need it , this is good progress on the part of the UN but more needs to be done , more pressure should be applied on Israel until there is regime change in Israel and a roadmap to a viable 2 state solution based on mutual respect .
