Totally understand the situation with the Smashbox liquid lip. I bought a red shade recently and it looked so dry on the actual applicator. BUT I really wanted to save it so I actually added a few drops of facial oil, shook it around and so far it looks and feels a lot better!
Flower beauty desert lights and jungle lights palette are amazing. If you haven’t tried those, you should.

I love that you think of shades deeper than yours. We def need drugstore brands to step up with the bronzers!
Seriously. I'm a light-plus white girl, and most of the "deep" bronzers work on me, even in the winter! 🤦 Flower Beauty is doing a revamp right now, and it would be great if they came out with deeper shades in their fantastic baked bronzer.
The Super Dewy blushes from Makeup Revolution are amazing, pigmented and blend like a dream! They have great colors too. The Infallible Fresh Wear bronzer has a bunch of shades.
Love that your not pressed to be fake and like/love everything.
Shape tape is my holy grail 🥲 I recently ran out and tried to use other hyped concealers and nothing compares!
i recently got rid of a lot of makeup by organizing my makeup into things i would repurchase and things i would not! my space was looking cluttered and there were a lot of products i wasn't using and/or not impressed by that i just didn't need to keep. from the would not repurchase pile, i gave some of it away, threw away the old ones, and even still kept some of it. my space looks wayyy better and im enjoying doing my makeup again. definitely recommend for those who feel overwhelmed by their makeup collection!!! and your makeup came out amazingg as always that eye look is gorgeous ♡

Omg, i absolutely agree 💯 that smashbox liquid lip, particularly in ‘stepping out’ used to be my holy grail fave repurchase but somewhere somehow it was so different and dry… twice I brought it back thinking I had a dud , but No, it’s just not the same. Sad cuz it was an all time favorite color and formula!

And I just got KVD eyeliner but in black. It’s so good. Pigmented so long lasting on upper and lower lash line. Creamy retractable. Just good. Now I definitely gotta get it in that brown shade 🙏🏼

I have super oily skin and I hate Tarte Shape Tape. Way too heavy on my under eyes and made me look 10 years older. I’ll never understand how OG UA-camrs could apply so much on their entire face. It made me realize that just because something looks good on camera doesn’t mean it looks good in real life. I never tried the creamy version but I think I’ll just stick with the ELF hydrating camo concealer.

This was fun to watch! I can't get into the newer Nars Light Reflecting Foundation...everyone raved about it, so I purchased it, and it just sits on top of my skin...even though I moisturize beforehand! I so wanted to love it😓

Same thing happened to me with the stepping out lipstick!! I thought I got a lemon but now I’m scared to get another knowing it happened to you too 😔 sad, I used to love that formula
I had the prettiest shade in a Smashbox liquid lip BUT it was soooo dry and almost chalky! So disappointing bc the shade was perfection

I can't do the Tarte Shape tape either. It's way too drying and it keeps on getting dryer throughout the day. That being said, I've used it as a full coverage foundation and oh emmmm geee!!! Everyone was asking what foundation I was wearing. I did not use a lot and blended with a sponge...chef kiss ! I wouldn't recommend it for daytime use but for a night of glam...it works

What were the brushes you used for setting the under eye and for the bronzer?
I CANNOT forgive Urban Decay for re-doing their lip liner range... I have used their bright pink lip liner in Anarchy literally since I was SIXTEEN!! I'm a makeup junkie and it is my most repurchased thing I own! I originally bought it to go with some bright pink ombre pumps that I wore to my Junior court warming in 2014- I ended up loving it so much it worked its way into my regular routine! I remember now that during the last 21 Days of Beauty all their pencils were on super sale... I had plenty of mine left at the time... Still kicking myself for not stocking up 🥺I still have about 3/4 of that final pencil left but I haven't come close to finding a dupe 😭

I hate the all of elf concealers. They are so dry and patchy under my eyes. And they really irritate my eyes.

I use not even a drop for every makeup look. They have the same color payoff as the Rare Beauty ones.

My skin does not do well with most powders.... so I have purchased SO many drugstore versions, like the Maybelline Fit Me powder and the Flower Beauty Light Illusion powder. The only affordable powder that works for me is the Elf Halo Glow powder. ( I have a "graveyard" drawer of powders to donate to family and friends!

I got the O/S spray sent to me & I had the same issue. It wasn’t spraying correctly & would just shoot out. Definitely not great

I know what it like having your husband go through a health scare mine had to get quadruple bypass done in his heart at the age of 43 it was so scary. Hi, so I went to wallmart the other day and they don't carry the Uoma Beauty 2 in 1 Brow Styler. I could order it but it would cost me over $20, and so I'm not going to do that. I had also gone to Wallgreens & CVS, but they didn't have it either, and couldn't find another product like that. Can you please recommend another one that does the exact same thing?
