Maybe the dolphins 🐬 were waiting till both 99 & 54 were in the Hall of Fame? Also not wanting to jinx the current team…? They now both are in the HALL!!! Let’s make it happen!!! 🐬🏈

If you’re doing a fab 4, I have a hard time with 3rd/4th…Shula and Marino are obvious…HOF but have the team longevity and NFL records ( even if many of Marino’s have been passed in a passing era) to justify their place in the rock, but having a hard time thinking of anyone that meets that criteria and has the NFL wide stature to boot…Robbie probably is the closest 3rd given his founding father role..but not sure a round table would agree

Truth", "accuracy, "and "objectivity" are cornerstones of journalism ethics. Journalists are encouraged to maintain a degree of detachment from the subjects they are covering in order to minimize potential biases in their reporting. Why am I saying this because you put up 4 fingers in a previous episode with Dave Hyde to indicate Tua has had 4 years to show what? That he's elite..? Knowing full well the 1st two yrs were tainted by a lack of weapons and little to no support from the head coach himself.
The worst thing you can be if you're a journalist is biased. When a reporter is biased, it dilutes the trustworthiness and integrity of their work, and it brings into question most importantly their credibility and their ability to be fair and impartial in their judgment. You are a very intelligent individual Pup and are capable of arguing both sides of a debate.
I'm sure you would say Marino proved himself right off the bat, correct? Yet Marino was chosen 27th overall because the team went to the Superbowl the year before. Tua was taken 5th overall. Which means the team sucked right? Advantage, Marino.
And Marino was being coached as a rookie by one the best coaches in the game at the time, Flores didn't even come close to that, correct? Again, advantage, Marino.
They had one of the most effective running games with Andra Franklin and Tony Nathan and one of the best defenses with (the Killer Bees) the year before when they went to the Superbowl in 83. BIG ADVANTAGE MARINO going to a team like that, wouldn't you say Pup?
Marino in his 1st year had Mark Duper and Mark Clayton and his 3rd receiver was better than any 3rd wr Tua has ever played with to date in Nat Moore, who was super clutch wouldn't you say Pup? How about Dureil Harris as your 4th WR. And another clutch player in Jim (Crash) Jensen, Kevin Hardy RB's Tony Nathan, Andra Franklin, David Overstreet, and Woody Bennet. 3 of those 4 RB'S had a 4.0 or more rushing avg‼️ They had guys that went over the middle and didn't drop the ball like Waddle and especially Hill did in big games didn't they Pup? Joe Rose wasn't bad either. Once again, advantage Marino.
Marino had way more answers on offense at his disposal than Tua did his 1st 2 seasons in this league. And it's not even close.
We haven't even gotten into the offensive line comparison yet either starting with the Hall of Famer Dwight Stephenson in his prime or Ed Newman, Jon Giesler. Again, advantage, Marino.
Are we starting to see a pattern here?
So can we PLEASE stop pretending like Tua's 1st 2 year situation was anywhere close to other QB'S that started out in their 1st couple of years with the same opportunity to have success as Marino, Herbert, Burrow or a Mahomes.
QB'S who went to teams whose offensive armament was far superior to what Tua started out with. And please stop using the talent he has now around him as a knock to his current success? You didn't do that vs. Mahomes, who had Hill and Kelce or Herbert, who had WR'S Williams and Keenan Allen. RB Austin Eckler and TE Hunter Henry or Burrow who had WR'S Boyd, Higgins plus Chase and RB Joe Mixion or Josh Allen when they got Diggs. Not to mention, Mahomes being drafted into a sorry division that they were almost guaranteed 6 victories every year vs. what Tua had to deal with with the Patriots and the Bills, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT'S A LIE‼️
But yet you throw up 4 fingers to signify as if the situations were on equal ground at the start, knowing that it wasn't‼️
You're a history guy, you know better than that Pup‼️
And if you didn't think about this, then the question is why.
Why would you give more credit to QB's that had more talent around them to begin their careers to help them succeed but blame Tua for his lack of success in a less ideal ie less talent situation⁉️ And then try to detract away from his success when he finally gets a coach that's in his corner and a GM that provides him with the necessary weapons to help him show what he did in college, which was play QB at a very high level when healthy. As if to explain away why you were wrong in rushing to judgement against him to soon, instead of just saying, no, he's is pretty good, he just apparently needed more talented players to throw to, for it to show just like every other QB in the league‼️🤷‍♂️
It's funny how you didn't detract from Mahomes' early success although having Andy Ried and Hill and Kelcy. That's three Hall of Famers he's working with. But do you detract from his success. Oh nooo... But you do detract from success when it comes to Tua. You do this, in my opinion, as if to explain why you look like you were wrong about Tua.
Now the team success has everything any and everything but Tua. I'm not saying it's all, Tua either, but that's true with every QB.
But with you It has to be something else. It can't be that you were wrong.
And I think it all stems from your arm talent bias.
Because Goff has the prerequisite or prototypical size but you still detract from him as well. The only common denominator is arm talent. Even if Tua or Goff wins a Chip, you still won't give them full credit like you would a Stafford Mahomes Herbert Jackson or Allen because Tua and Goff don't have the arm talent you respect.
So to you, they're really not that good. They're nothing special‼️
You and others like you view QB'S through this prison.
    Or Bias.
And you detract from their success by giving greater credit to the other players or coaches around them on the team when those QB'S that don't have the your preferred arm strenght play at a high level, as a reason for your supposition not going according to type to boister your preconceived belief system.
Because it's like your brain can not process or except that someone with that weak arm could possibly be that good in the NFL.
    And that's wrong Pup‼️
You're not being fair to those other lesser arm talent QB's, in my opinion, due to your partiality to strong armed QB'S.
That's your bias. That's your blind spot. That's your favoritism being imposed unfairly on them and us who like your work outside of this area.
Even though you had an example that a strong arm doesn't mean you're a better QB than a weaker armed QB.
That example was in Tannehill, who had all the physical traits or tools you seek in a QB, but had very few of the skills you don't have the same respect for, like, feel, touch, consistent pinpoint accuracy, quick release, quick decisions.
Skills that Brady, Brees, and Montana excelled in.
You like the freaky stuff, that when you see it, it leaves your mouth wide open or make you say wow!
So there's plenty of evidence of your bias against Tua, Goff, and any other non super, armed, talented QB. I'm sure you think the same thing about Purdy, that it's the talent around him that allows him to look so good right. But if he was throwing the ball around with great velocity, you would be like, yeah, it's him. You have to sign him. Just like Herbert, who's Tannehill 2.0.
You probably like the circus and carnivals because you know that's where the freaks are.
That'll be $2,500.00 for that psycho analysis session, Pup‼️
    Pay without delay‼️💰🐬
    FREAK LOVER‼️😆😂🤣
    YOU ARM QUEEN, YOU‼️🤣😂😆
    LOL‼️😉
    Thanks for giving me material‼️😎👍
HOPE YOU'RE NOT THIN SKINNED. THIS IS JUST ABOUT SPORTS AFTER ALL.
I HAVE NO DOUBTS ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER PERSONALLY.

Hill is on a HOF trajectory, he is worth 35+ mil as long as he’s healthy and still has speed, I have to balk at any injury or drop off concerns…he has played 8 years, missed 1 game in 3 of those years, and missed 4 in 2019, incredible when you think about soft tissue injuries guys in his line of work suffer, some guys are just freaks…think Darrell Green, can probably still run 4.4, Hill is in that same category

Frees up money and I wish he would continue playing at elite level but Tyreek ankle issues don’t get better as he ages and how many turf games this year?????? That kills ankles knees and Achilles. I think 6-7 turf games

Not sure I like the inclusion of owners and coaches in a “Fab Four” talk because Brian Epstein and George Martin weren’t a part of the Beatles. They were considered as a fifth Beatle. So, same could be said for Coach Shula and Joe Robbie. Also, tomorrow is the 57th anniversary of Sgt Pepper’s.

I would sell out and go all in on Tua and give him a contract in the vicinity of Geoff. If he plays like he did last year this season I believe he’ll get that 55-57 million contract you’re talking about. It’s another healthy season under his belt and another box he’s crossed off there would be a handful of teams that would step in and try to take him. If quote unquote he balls out and let’s say finishes 2nd in mvp voting and wins a couple of playoff games. I think he would be inline for a contract in the 60-65 million per year range and that is a very good player you would be missing out on. Let’s say he regresses or gets hurt well then your team would probably also be bad and be inline for a high draft pick possibly drafting his replacement. With Russell Wilson exit in Denver we see teams can eat a bad QB contract

Goff had 2 years over 100 before having consecutive passer ratigg by a of 86 in 2019 and 90 in 2020. Tua’s passer rating his rookie year of 87 has been called “booty cheeks” by Poup when Omar was on. All that to say, this Tua situation is not similar to Goff in LA. If Tua has 2 bad statistical years in a row, then yes, but now, no way.
