Dana said they were trying to make him and khamzat and not a peep of it since. Belal said he was supposed to fight colby on this card but colby turned it down. I think colby is very good too but getting a 3rd title shot in 4 fights is ridiculous. He has two losses to usman with wins against Jorge/woodley/lawler. That’s not the resume of a guy who should get a 3rd title shot in 4 fights.

He is getting the shot because he came in 3 day notice cut 18 pounds in 1 day and was ready to fight. How many fighters can make weight on 3 day notice ? Khamzat couldn’t even make weight with a full camp for the diaz fight. This kinda like you scratch my back I scratch yours situation. I watched the ufc from day one 1993 i was 13. I was already ready to join and well versed in different styles, Natural wrestler and boxer, Some karate, kick boxing and very fast and powerful and great fight IQ. But no opportunities at all no one knew wtf i was on about till 5-10 year's later. Life took a different route by then. My biggest regret is not pursuing it.
