How bout you do your research first. Or at least tell the narrator how to say characters names first. Its not "Asp Asia" its pronounced "Ah spa see ah"
The most important treason, the reason of the franchise in last 15 years of assassin's Creed, Uberto Alberti, he's the reason for Ezio becoming the greatest assassin's of all time
Don't forget that after revealing that Aspasia was the villain, you also get a choice to kiss her, easily one of the most baffling romance choices I've ever seen.

It's kinda both ways. Sure, Brotherhood betrayed him but also he didn't have to kill all his friends even if they wanted the thing he despised. He didn't have to join the Templars also as he knew earlier that they aren't really that good, actually both Assassins and Templars were very similar in the 1700s.
As far as Shay's betrayal goes, I was far more affected by him killing Adewale than Charles Dorian. Mostly because I'd spent a fair chunk of Black Flag getting to know and like Ade, but Charles was just part of Arno's background. Charles's death might have been more significant looking at a broader perspective, but Adewale's cut deeper because I knew him far better.
I recently replayed Rogue and I had a big "Oh fuck no!" moment when I reminded myself that we kill Adewale in this game. Easily one of the most heartbreaking things in the whole franchise 😣
Bellec's betrayal made me really sad. I think he's one of the best characters in the franchise, and one of the reasons Assassin's Creed Unity is criminally underrated
Thank God that classic Assassin's Creed is back with Mirage. My biggest problem with the new games isn't the rpg elements, it's the weak stealth and parkour mechanics and the fact your not playing as an actual member of the brotherhood.
The stealth in modern games is far better than Stealth in games like AC2. AC2 easily has some of the worst stealth mechanics in all of gaming. Classic Assassin's creed are shitty stealth games, that don't even have a crouch button ffs.
@@jesseinfinite ur almost right! The stealth was not that good, but at least it was the SUPPORTED/INTENDED play style! In Valhalla on the other hand, just the “PLAY AS A VIKING” branding alone says it all!
Valhalla gives you the opportunity to play in a stealthy way and I usually did approach missions and side activities with stealth, but the RPG elements and playing the mythological settings of the last few games has been my personal pet peeve with the series. I want to see more from Mirage before I give into playing it, but I am hopeful that the return to the roots of the series will prove beneficial.
It's honestly more of a complex situation and understandable. We see first hand that not everything the Assassins were doing were right, especially when they don't understand what they were dealing with. @@Lmarquesgamer Exactly, because Mirabeau, the driving force for the Assassins' side of the truce, was killed. Is it a betrayal though? I mean Madeleine knew Aveline was an assassin all along and she always wanted to turn Aveline into her puppet. And a little fun fact there is one mission in the game where you can use eagle vision on her and she glows red.
Having Cleopatra and Caesar betray us always felt like a missed opportunity to me. Not the betrayal itself, but the story not going for it as our motive. It really felt believable that Bayak would feel betrayed by Caesar pardoning the guy who murdered his son, and turns on the two of them for a very personal reason. But apparently the game wanted him to remain a pure heroic character and instead try to act like Cleopatra betrayed Egypt by being corrupted by Flavius.
When Cleopatra betrayed me I was.about to go into Alexandria and start killing people to get to her. But sadly we never get that chance. Man Ubisoft y'all had a good line with that mission
I was a bit surprised, but also glad/happy that "the fans" was the last one, Aaron brought up. Ubisoft has really betrayed its long time fans (like myself) by ignoring all the lore pretty much. And going for the "Witcher" RPG elements.

Considering that William Miles basically drove Desmond to run away, is it any wonder why he also caused Lucy to betray the brotherhood? While the whole Lucy betraying the Assassin's was shoehorned in because of petty reasons, I do like the plot they created for it. William treated the Assassin's brotherhood like chess and the people as chess pieces.

Beat bloodline on psp beat assassin creed 2 on ds now playing assassin creed brotherhood
Truthfully, I stopped playing this franchise after Syndicate
Lost all credibility when you said Shay killed Charles in front of Arno. He killed him, yes, but Arno was nowhere near as he ran off with Elise.
the newer ones are not ment to be like the older ones they are telling the story from before the time of the assassins we know from the older games this is seen in the way they are not even called the Assassins or templars but other names this former conflict evolves over time into the later groups of Assassins and templars as those older groups are defeated and rebuilt fro the ground up this led to them and their ideals changing over time
Ikr, people being like "the new games don't feel like they're about Assassins, except Origins!" huh, well, because they're not. Both Valhalla and Odyssey focus more on the Isu lore, it's really not that hard to see when playing the games. And you really can't argue that the Isu isn't part of "the AC lore" because it sure is.
Bruh💀💀💀 10:05
The assassin's in Rogue betrayed him and the creed
In my eyes Assassin's betrayed Shay.
Hm, how very interesting.
In my defense sigurd and randvi would have gotten a divorce anyway
I think ubisoft needs to give assassin's creed a break
Can't people take a little experimenting.
Come on what about the dude in AC 2 who betrayed the auditores's that dude caused ac 2, brotherhood, and revelations to occur.
last one i completely disagree
Let's hope ac mirage will be good
Aspayzha? Who's that?
The pronunciation of “Aspasia” 😖
I never Trusted Stillman I always believe she was hidden Something
The betrayal of the fans or towards the fans?
Only a Dumba$$ newbie fan won't see Ol Cleopatra 's betrayal as it's been disclosed in Ac2 that Cleo was killed by Amunet (Aya) ..
I really wish they would pronounce their names properly in every video.. “Aspacia”
The fans😂😂😂💥
ASS-PA-SIA
First second or third
It's pronounced "ass pa ciea" not "astasia"
Really tho? This ends up being yet another "wahh wahh it was better befooore" whiny video? You could have said it right at the beginning, I would have avoided watching. And that's really not me defending the games now or Ubisoft's choices, it's just that this was presented as a video about the story itself, not some whiny ass "analysis" of how meanie Ubisoft ruined their own franchise for "the fans". Seriously, stop being so bitter about the games evolving, the early games still exist for everyone to enjoy!
Something tells me this video is ratioed
