RT, I feel like you should know that I am currently caring for 4 orphaned ducklings. Due to their separation anxiety, I spend most of my days with them, often with UA-cam on. Whenever I watch one of your videos, they immediately calm down and make their contented peeps. Other UA-camrs I watch either get no reaction, or they're scared of the UA-camr's voice. But your videos, without fail, comfort the ducklings. I am currently using this video to put them to bed for the night. You have 4 feathered fans.

@@meankat38 Yeah. That pretty much it. If you find the same pokemon twice, you are allowed to do another encounter if you so choose.

Some info about the bug gym:
In Japan, at least mostly in the rural areas, bug catching is a very popular activity for kids, that’s why the gym is filled with kids.
Pokemon is also inspired from bug catching where Satoshi Tajiri liked catching bugs as a kid and made pokemon based off it.
Pokemon is also probably inspired by Shin Megami Tensei, but that's for someone else to discuss/my brain doesn't want to explain it right now for whatever reason

Hey, I just recently ran through Pokémon HeartGold myself! It was the first time I learned you could catch both box Legendaries because I actually bothered to speak with NPCs. I chose Cyndaquil too! Although, I kinda cheesed the game by grossly overleveling (read: leveling to 100) by the end of Johto. I had a Quilava during the first fight against Silver.
Fun fact: Passerby is a Trainer class, not part of a name! So, his name at the time was just *B o y .*

Now, technically I lost the cartridge years ago, but through sheer force of will I spawned another one from my mind and in no way just got it online because Nintendo won't sell this stuff anymore. To those who dont know, the reason bugsy leads with scyther is because their signature move in hgss is u-turn, a bug type move that deals damage and switches out the pokemon. Bugsy didnt use it because Arson was out, and it would deal less damage than quick attack

Classic Pokemon games are easy to nuzlocke in my opinion. Even without nuzlocke, the difficulties in pokemon games are either right at the start or near the end. He'll be fine

Never forget the Duplicate rule, if you've already caught one of a pokemon you can re-encounter on the route very useful for making sure you don't end up with half a dozen of a specific pokemon by the end of the game

Technically, it's an optional rule, just the big two are core rules: #1. "Faint = Death", and #2." Can only catch first encounter in each area." (Even #3. "Name every Pokemon you catch" can be considered optional, since it adds nothing to the overt mechanics of the challenge, but it's a pretty bad idea to exclude it all the same.) Another common option related to not starting until you have Pokeballs is to exclude the fixed species first Route 1 encounter in the games that have it and other stuff like that.
There are more rules like you can surpass a gym leader's max level pokemon and if you already have an evolution or the same pokemon that appears on a route, you can catch the next one so you don't run out of pokemon if you don't have max lives in the rules

Nuzlockes are just you getting pets then when they pass out in a fight you shoot them with a shotgun at point blank range then saying “sleep my friend” as the others watch praying not to be next
