The general design of the stage reminds a lot of Sonic Adventure 2 stages, wide and long corridors, good space awareness for navigating or needing use of certain abilities, good grinding sections, and a lot of light dash situations (maybe too dependant, maybe there are some alternatives routes in certain areas but i didn't see them). I really liked it a lot!!!
Is it just me, or is this level unnecessarily huge?
Was it scaled up to compensate for Sonic's speed?
I think this Sonic might just be smaller and the camera is zoomed in more than in Heroes giving the illusion of a larger environment.
If it's not then they LITERALLY DOUBLED the size since he travels through it at half the pace you do in Heroes.
Just watched a video of the original stage and yeah, the scaling is off big time. The level is doubled in size, easily.

Alex J umm... Both team Sonic and team Dark have equally long levels, it's just that team Dark has more enemies. Team Sonic = normal, team Dark = hard, and team Rose = easy

Politically Incorrect Actually I never got a problem with it. And every time I have a glitch I just take off the disc and put it back again and problem solved (most of the times)
It's more an issue with the frame rate than any glitch.
Politically Incorrect I know that there are people who have said that there's a frame rate issue but I never got one, except once but at that time my disc was a bit scratched but problem solved, for now anyways.

Background Design in Sonic Forces tho be futuristic,slick and modern
This is great, I have alot of ideas for porting levels to Sonic Generations but I'm kind of holding out in case of a Sonic Unleashed PC port, although Sonic Generations levels should in theory be fairly easy to port to Sonic Unleashed
Plus Generations have lot of tools to support and stable to mod.
Let's hope Forces gets the same love, or who knows it may even come shipped with a modloader, it isn't impossible with what SEGA have done with the Mega Drive Collection on Steam, I do really want Sonic Unleashed on PC though, modding the Werehog would be so much fun

I know about the Unleashed Project but that is just the daytime levels, I was the entire game, the hub worlds the Werehog the Unleashed physics
Other than the repetitive music, cheap deaths (I may just suck) and lengthy levels it was all right.
This isn't Blue Sphere, this is GRAND METROPOLIS!

the remaster in boost formula is cool and all but it really makes you appreciate the combat the adventure era but especially heroes had. i feel like its much more fun to casually speedrun games like sonic heroes and adventure cause it feels more like a game instead of the boost forumals reactionary gameplay that feels more like geometry dash or osu based than anything else. maybe thats why i liked the wearhog so much. heaps of freedom and exploration

After the many times i played this stage, i never knew you could just boost into the door
i swear this version is so much better than that ver that angel released where you have to hit a switch and wait for the door to open if i wanted a door switch i would play the original heroes game but in this game it makes sense that you can boost through the door because sonic is more powerful than heroes game era but like most dev's he listened to the cries of the sonic fanbase that are "up and down and all around" (lol) and added switches to slow the pace and wait for the door to open. sigh btw good playthrough m8

These ports are always need. but sometimes I wish we could of seen a "generationfy" of these levels. to see what we think the level design would of been if generations itself. (I mostly look at the shadow the hedgehog level for really interesting ideas.)
