I have all three models as well. Been using the 75t's for about a year, but decided to "upgrade" to the Pros. Wish I had watched this review first. The 75t's win by far. I cannot believe how much delay/lag there is with the 7 Pros. Just watching a YT video, the delay is very noticeable. For instance, watching a skateboarding video, when the board slaps against the concrete, there is about a half-second delay before you hear it. Also, I was SHOCKED that the 7 Pros do not have multi-point connection. As a frequent traveler, this is a deal breaker for me. I need to have my laptop going as well as my phone. I can't be watching a video at the airport, only to miss a phone call because I couldn't hear the alert. Just unbelievable. Lastly, the bass on the 7 Pros is SEVERELY lacking. They sound like cheap earbuds. How is this an "upgrade" over the 75t? I called Jabra Tech Support, and they said the multi-point firmware update is coming, but they don't know when. So with that, the 7 Pros are going back. What a let down. Oh, my wife uses the Elite 3s. They sound great, but the mic is horrible. When she is out shopping and calls me, it is choppy, loud, etc. The 75t mic isn't great either, but I'll take that trade off to get multi-point, decent ANC, one-touch ambient mode, solid battery, and good music quality.
100% agree with you. The sound quality on the 7 pro is abysmal compared to the 75t. Muddy, distorted, and lacking that punch and energy. Volume is also significantly weaker.
I just bought the elite 3's at best buy earlier today and I'll be honest: these buds are excellent. I don't care much about ANC because the hear through feature you get with these are still top notch. For less than $100 bucks? That's a steal and no brainer. Trust me, anyone who just wants a pair of decent sounding buds that's not over 200 will be satisfied.

thank you for this, spent weeks now trying to find a replacement for my tranya t10 buds, which have been fantastic. and this is the sentiment I've been finding that helped me decide on the elite 3s over the 75t, also mono mode. mono mode is huge for me.
I have used the 75ts for a few years now. Love them. They have their quirks, but they sound great. One of my 75t pairs (I have 3 because I use them every day all day for work), finally died. I decided to try the 7 Pros. The sound profile had no bass and when I tried to boost it, everything got muddy. The controls were less customizable and they lack multi-point connection. I sent them back. I don't really use the ANC on the 75t. It uses the battery up and doesn't make enough difference to me to be worth the battery. Also, the ANC was an add on software update they pushed after they were originally released. Credit to Jabra for trying to improve the experience for users. The 7 Pros seemed to have bad latency on UA-cam videos for me. That was another reason I decided to return them. I wish Jabra wasn't phasing the 75ts out. In my view, the 7 Pro offers longer charge times and the ability to use left and right earbuds independently, but aside from that, they are worse than the 75ts in almost every other way, and most importantly, the sound profile is way worse in the 7 Pros. Good review.
This was basically a commercial for the 75t, unless you are on a budget. I am pretty shocked the Elite 7s didn't win any category clearly and even fell behind the budget Elite 3s in certain places. Good review, not what I was hoping to hear since I wanted to get the 7s but honest from your own perspective. I respect that. The promised multipoint introduction to the 7s will help; why it was left out at this price is beyond me.

I'm surprised by the performance of the 3's on this video. I just bought them a few days ago. I like the one touch volume controls on each earbud that they added. They also don't feel as much pressure on my ears as the 65t actives I had a few years ago. I'm not a big fan of ANC anyway, but was considering 7's for call quality but seems like 3's will hold up.
The elite 3 are way to good. Especially for that price. I have a pair now for some weeks and they easily became my favorite bud. Awesome sound,best fit I ever had,physical buttons with the most important controls on them, why anc when the passive caneling is that awesome, individual usable..... they are just exactly all I can want.

Great tests as usual Aaron. Interestingly to my ears there seemed to be very little difference between anc being on or off. In real life though, the 75T's anc work extremely well. Maybe I got lucky as Kevin below feels his 75T's anc is a joke.

My 75t broke and I upgraded to the 85t and after 1 day I returned them , wasn’t happy at all for the extra cost , the 75t when you set the eq right are bass kings, I’m yet to find a set of earphones that match them for bass, I’ve replaced them with the beats studio buds, and they don’t come close to the jabra 75t for bass but do sound better over all, The jabra anc is a lot better than the beats

Hi, I have a question about sound quality. You have mentioned you liked the sound quality of 75T more than others, but also said you can still tweak the sound settings of Pro 8. Does it mean that the sound of Pro 8 can match 75T's after the adjustment or there is still limitation?

I was thinking the same but if you compare them on the website and highlight the differences, the Pros come out on top. It says the actives can’t connect to a computer, doesn’t have call controls and doesn’t come with a 2 yr warranty.

I suspect the 75t also has announce calls and speak to answer/reject calls which is convenient for calls when hands are occupied. I know for sure the 65t has it. So the Jabra elite 7 pro does not have this nor does it have multipoint at the moment. Hope that can come through a firmware update because right now the pros are lacking
Call quality between them is close enough as to not be a differenciator. The 75ts if you own them are just as good as the others, no need to upgrade. Still disappointed with my wf xm4s, they are home right now, while I have a Plantronics 5200 in my pocket if someone calls. Maybe you need a better test to see the differences, I don't think these indoor tests are getting the job done.
Aaron, love your video. Would you be able to do stress tests on connectivity / electrical interference susceptibility in your wireless earbuds reviews going forward? I got a set of Jabra 85t which I junked after experiencing frequent dropping off or crackling sounds when walking near traffic lights or in shopping centres which I didn't experience with Airpods or Bose wireless earbuds. Also the 80mm distance between the right and left earbuds was a joke too! These are the sort of issues which I think potential users / buyers would be keen to find out on too.
I just upgrade from the 75t to the 7pro and the 75t are much better in mid range and bass clarity Edit: a week after I end up returning it and bought back the 75t

Ur so right! The elite 3’s are best because ANC distorts voice sound on phone calls and should only be used for music. (With the exception of bose qc earbuds)
I was using Elite Active 75t from last 2 Yrs, Those were fantastic in performance, i used them for online classes 5-6 Hrs, but I never feel uncomfortable, I used them for Running purpose, they were great in fit. but in last week the Left one stopped working. In my opinion elite 3 was definitely the winner of call quality in first elite 75t was having Chopin kind of noise from background very irritating then elite 3 was truely balanced and clear then elite 7pro changed the sound it was like very heavy and muffled audio but I was a elite 65t customer so I'll definitely miss moments features in elite 3 it is useless in doors but outside it works awsome and a lot of customisation are Missing in elite 3 hope Jabra will push them in future updates Thanks for honest opinion love from India 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼

I still don't understand why elite 7 pro has more than half of second delay. They need to update the firmware to include multipoint, better call quality (not a dramatic difference from elite 3 & 75t), better ANC (again not much better than 75t which doesn't have the proper hardware for ANC), and better delay. Only having ACC and SBC is also a bummer.... I've already pre-ordered them, so my fingers are crossed
Possible hissing noise on Elite 3 is a deal breaker for me right now :( I will probably wait to see whether they will fix it with SW update or some HW tweaks in later production…

Well, i like the ANC of the 75t-s way more in this comparison. Would be interesting to hear how the ANC performs when they actually play some music. It makes a huge difference on my 85h, even with quiet music, or talk. I guess when it has some sound to modulate with the background noise, the ANC works better.

I have been using the active 75t for a year, seems like I dont need the upgrade just yet. They work really well on a day-to-day basis, only downfall is the sound quality, but I dont talk that much on the phone, so I just put them in the case when the phone is ringing.

@@lyoncab Just received Galaxy Buds Pro and apart from the controls and audio customization, the Buds Pro are better than 75t. Better ANC, better audio, water resistance, wireless charging and 360 audio is amazing. Ambient sound also better and more natural on Buds Pro.
I just bought the active 75t but when I recorded a video using my Jabras as the mic input it doesn't work the same as your video. It picks up a lot background noise and barely picks up my voice
I have the 75t and have had them since they originally came out. Daily use since I've had them and the battery has dropped to about 5 hours before I have to put it back in the charging case. Is it worth upgrading or should I wait?
I've had my 75t for almost two years and the left earbud is dying. I'm thinking about the Sony's XM4s, the Jabra 7 Pro or another go with the 75t. I'd like to know if the firmware updates for the 7 Pros have made any significant improvements to them though.
@Alvaro Maradiaga I bought the 7 pro and haven't had any major issues 2 weeks in. They are not as bass heavy as the 75t but it is definitely better than airpods and samsung true wireless headphones

This is quite the impressive review but there is a point regarding the 7 pros that I have yet to see. The Jabra elite 75Ts have a closed-back design which greatly contributes to the impressive passive noise isolation they are known for, but do the Jabra 7 Pro have an Open-back or Closed-back design? It should be possible to tell by judging the difference in the passive noise isolation (with ANC and Hearthrough turned off). Could you clarify this for me and anyone else wondering this?
I need a simple earbuds with good call quality for my office teams call and small time usage in gym.. No mobile gaming and Not fascinated with extreme good sound quality or other fancy features of high end.. Like anc and customization .. Done elite 3.. Ordered Saved bucks.. So next year I wont hesitate to upgrade and see what new and better call and sound quality earbuds available

Very impressive review thank you. Believe it or not I just sent the Sennheiser CX Plus back to Amazon because of its inferior sound quality and low volume what am I comparing it to? The JBL Reflect Minis are my daily drivers the sound quality and volume are great and they EQ better than anything else I've used so far. Unfortunately the JBL'S fall short in other places. I bought the elite 3, 3 weeks ago and they were a little too small, when I raised my head to look up, they would create a sound bubble/plugged muted effect in my left ear. I hope the 7 pros or Active amhave a bigger shell.

I agree. I think the elite 3 have the most clear and smooth voice in balancing bwetween vocals and background noise👍🏻

What is the pro 8? Do you mean 85T? Those have 12mm drivers and I think much better sound than any of these new ones. Just my opinion.🤔😉

Call quality between them is close enough as to not be a differenciator. The 75ts if you own them are just as good as the others, no need to upgrade. Still disappointed with my wf xm4s, they are home right now, while I have a Plantronics 5200 in my pocket if someone calls. Maybe you need a better test to see the differences, I don't think these indoor tests are getting the job done.

Aaron, love your video. Would you be able to do stress tests on connectivity / electrical interference susceptibility
in your wireless earbuds reviews going forward? I got a set of Jabra 85t which I junked after experiencing frequent dropping off or crackling sounds when walking near traffic lights or in shopping centres which I didn't experience with Airpods or Bose wireless earbuds. Also the 80mm distance between the right and left earbuds was a joke too! These are the sort of issues which I think potential users / buyers would be keen to find out on too.

I just upgrade from the 75t to the 7pro and the 75t are much better in mid range and bass clarity

Ur so right! The elite 3’s are best because ANC distorts voice sound on phone calls and should only be used for music. (With the exception of bose qc earbuds)

In my opinion elite 3 was definitely the winner of call quality in first elite 75t was having Chopin kind of noise from background very irritating then elite 3 was truely balanced and clear then elite 7pro changed the sound it was like very heavy and muffled audio but I was a elite 65t customer so I'll definitely miss moments features in elite 3 it is useless in doors but outside it works awsome and a lot of customisation are Missing in elite 3 hope Jabra will push them in future updates

I have Jabra Elite Active 75t, this the perfect device, but doesn't work independently as mono.
So if I Wish to upgrade this Elite Active 75t with newer one, than which will be better choice Jabra 3, Jabra 7 Active or Jabra 7 Pro ??
Until they upgrade the firmware, any of those probably would feel like a downgrade from the 75t
I still don't understand why elite 7 pro has more than half of second delay. They need to update the firmware to include multipoint, better call quality (not a dramatic difference from elite 3 & 75t), better ANC (again not much better than 75t which doesn't have the proper hardware for ANC), and better delay. Only having ACC and SBC is also a bummer....
I've already pre-ordered them, so my fingers are crossed
Let's hope the update brings more changes apart from multipoint
I own a set of Jabra Elite 3s. The main gripe about the elite 3s would be the horrible hissing sound. I could hear it even when soft music is playing.
No issue here at all with them.

Possible hissing noise on Elite 3 is a deal breaker for me right now :( I will probably wait to see whether they will fix it with SW update or some HW tweaks in later production…
@@davidkovarik483 could be the hear through option, ive no problems at all with hissing, hear through uses some kind of mic to pick up sound when the earpods are inside your ear canal blocking sound out
the elite 3s are really good. maybe get extra bass by software EQ tuning on the pros?
Well, i like the ANC of the 75t-s way more in this comparison.
Would be interesting to hear how the ANC performs when they actually play some music. It makes a huge difference on my 85h, even with quiet music, or talk.
I guess when it has some sound to modulate with the background noise, the ANC works better.
Has owner of elite active 75t I'm going to stay with them there's no much reason to upgrade yet to any other

I would advise against going with the 75t as they are being discontinued at the end of 2021. If they're on sale though, go for it!

I have been using the active 75t for a year, seems like I dont need the upgrade just yet. They work really well on a day-to-day basis, only downfall is the sound quality, but I dont talk that much on the phone, so I just put them in the case when the phone is ringing.

@@lyoncab Just received Galaxy Buds Pro and apart from the controls and audio customization, the Buds Pro are better than 75t. Better ANC, better audio, water resistance, wireless charging and 360 audio is amazing. Ambient sound also better and more natural on Buds Pro.

I just bought the active 75t but when I recorded a video using my Jabras as the mic input it doesn't work the same as your video. It picks up a lot background noise and barely picks up my voice

I have the 75t and have had them since they originally came out. Daily use since I've had them and the battery has dropped to about 5 hours before I have to put it back in the charging case. Is it worth upgrading or should I wait?
I've had my 75t for almost two years and the left earbud is dying. I'm thinking about the Sony's XM4s, the Jabra 7 Pro or another go with the 75t. I'd like to know if the firmware updates for the 7 Pros have made any significant improvements to them though.
@Alvaro Maradiaga I bought the 7 pro and haven't had any major issues 2 weeks in. They are not as bass heavy as the 75t but it is definitely better than airpods and samsung true wireless headphones

This is quite the impressive review but there is a point regarding the 7 pros that I have yet to see. The Jabra elite 75Ts have a closed-back design which greatly contributes to the impressive passive noise isolation they are known for, but do the Jabra 7 Pro have an Open-back or Closed-back design? It should be possible to tell by judging the difference in the passive noise isolation (with ANC and Hearthrough turned off). Could you clarify this for me and anyone else wondering this?

Very impressive review thank you. Believe it or not I just sent the Sennheiser CX Plus back to Amazon because of its inferior sound quality and low volume what am I comparing it to? The JBL Reflect Minis are my daily drivers the sound quality and volume are great and they EQ better than anything else I've used so far. Unfortunately the JBL'S fall short in other places. I'm thinking about the Jabra 85t or maybe see how they tune the Elite 7 Active decisions decisions. Thanks again much appreciated. 🤔👍🇺🇸💯

I bought the elite 3, 3 weeks ago and they were a little too small, when I raised my head to look up, they would create a sound bubble/plugged muted effect in my left ear. I hope the 7 pros or Active amhave a bigger shell.
