It is not working with 3ds max 2018 and vray :( When I try to make lines they seems just single lines not looks like your lines. Your lines seem more than 1 line. Mine is jıust single line.
Amazing Job, Did you designed All of those buildings your self Or you Used some kind of Plugin? Could you make a tutorial about how to create buildings like these ?

Fresh Fisch when I wrote this it was a script to have to choose to run each time. filein @“my//file//location//trafficTrails.mse” example: filein @"C://Program Files//Autodesk//3ds Max 2016//scripts//trafficTrails.mse" You could write a line like that and drag it to the toolbar if you wanted.

So, cutout it's somehow like opacity? or alpha? I'm pretty sure it can be donee with Vray.

At the moment for 2018 you'd also need mental ray, I'll be using 2018 soon so I'll make a version update then.

No, this was created for 3ds Max 2016 and so now there is some incompatible syntax used in the code that I will have to update, watch this space.
