The songs really feel entirely different when listening them within the context of the album, you should listen to Renaissance non-stop!
Watching this video helped me unlock more of this album. So at the end when she names all the brands, it’s because she is wearing brand new outfits by high end brands on her tour which is the Renaissance tour this summer. The picture of her on the horse is inspired by Studio 54; a lady rode in on a horse to the party to be noticed because it was very popular to party at 54 but not that easy to get in. Beyoncé is interrupting the party. She wants to have fun. So she’s going for a ride. 54 was full of drugs so she talks about going higher but higher as in ride as in sexual and she’s riding a horse, Bey a freak lol. But there’s 4 poses cause we know that’s her number and a horse has 4 legs. And the first pose is her literally posing on the horse. The second is her saying she’s a 10 with both hands up, and, all through the album. The ladst two are Dangerously in Love poses which she starts the tour of singing. A Renaissance is an appreciation of old things again. She’s revisiting the beginning of her career when it was about fun and not competition. The horse is also blue. Not to mention Jay Z’s zodiac is Sag which is a half human half horse symbol aside from the arrow going up. Not to mention their daughter’s name is Blue. Beyoncé is in her bag!
