I can understand why many people might prefer Jean-Michel Jarre - he certainly made electronic music more accesible and attractive for the masses with the usage of lasers and sensory overload in his concerts; that is probably what made him the most commercially (or one of the most) succesful electronic musician. But I do find it unfair that you are regarding to Schulze's music as being 'dated' when he is possibly one of Jarre's influences.
